"Really?!" On hearing Xia Liang’s words, Dong Jun asked with his eyes beaming. He retrained the hug pains and hobbled quickly to the window to check it out.
It was grass under the window, not hard concrete floor. So it wouldn’t hurt even if they fell down.
"Xia Liang, you go first!” Xia Min shouted at Xia Liang as he had a feeling that those zombies were about to push open the door.
"No!” Xia Liang turned around and ran to Xia Min from the window, smashed hard at the zombie in the head who was squeezing through the door.
Zombies were fragile under sunshine. As the room was sprayed with strong sunshine, Xia Liang killed the zombie with one smash.
And the door was closed again.
"I will stay with you. Let Dong Jun Captain Sun go first!” Xia Liang took a breath and said.
Dong Jun and Captain Sun were both touched by her decision.
How could they not? Xia Liang just offered them a great chance to survive even though she was in extreme danger too.
At that moment, Captain Sun and Dong Jun no longer loathed Xia Liang. They were grateful to her now instead.
"Xia Liang, thank you. You’ve changed!” Dong Jun climbed up to the window and looked back at her.
"Go lend him a hand! Be quick! Get out of here!” Xia Liang said to Captain Sun as she swapped the place with him.
She did all of these because of Xia Min. As for the gratitude she got from them, she didn’t care so much.
"OK! OK! You two catch up!” Captain Sun nodded and ran toward the window the moment Xia Liang replaced him.
"Perhaps I can jump first and catch you down there.” Captain Sun said to Dong Jun who was struggling with jumping off the window because of his wounded leg.
"No, no need! I’m OK.” Dong Jun knew it very well that it was not the time he was allowed to chicken out. Gritting his teeth, he jumped.
Bam!
"Ouch!”
Dong Jun wailed as he fell down on the ground.
Xia Min, looking at Xia Liang next to him, asked seriously, “Why didn’t you leave?”
"I need to be with you.” Xia Liang looked back at him, saying reasonably.
"You might get killed.” Xia Min said, “You should protect yourself first. It’s not the time to be a hero.”
"No.” Xia Liang said with certainty, “We won’t die.”
"Why?” Xia Min asked, “How do you know?”
"My brother is capable, so am I.” Xia Liang said without a trace of fear, “I will protect you!”
Bam! Bam!
The door was smashed so violently that Xia Liang could barely hold the door. She was pushed forward and almost fell on the floor.
Of course she missed out the look Xia Min gave her. Xia Min looked at her with smoking hot feelings in his eyes, so hot as if something was about to burst out.
But the next second, Xia Min looked down. When he looked up again, his eyes were deep and dark as usual, like nothing ever happened before.

The door was shook violently again. And it was cracked open again and an arm got in through the crack.
Xia Liang recognized it was Ye Fei’s arm because of the sleeve.
