It have been a few months and now its time for the tournament to start.Throughout the months,my mantle have been tested every time and I've succeeded in it all.
There were couple of tests here and there through the months and we supported each other in the Polar Star Dormitory.
Anyway,Satoshi Isshiki have challenged me and he cooked seriously.I wanted to lose on purpose but knew that he would be disappointed in me when he finds out so I decided to be serious.
With that said,it wasn't a Shokugeki at all,a casual match,if you want to call it that way.It was from this match that I won against him and became an unofficial elite ten seat member.
Well,that took place a month or two ago.Anyway,lets go back to the present,shan't we?
With me,Momo and Hashirama's skills improving,we were confidant that we could get to the finals and perhaps win the tournament taking place soon.
Honestly,I don't think winning the tournament would change much of the timeline;only changing the winners.This would perhaps make Hayama more powerful then he was at the start of the final 'hunt' arc.
This is because he may be more motivated to practice due to his loss to us in the finals.I feel that this will balance out the extra training I gave to Soma.I trained him a little due to his persistence and slightly due to Momo telling me to do so.
Well,at that,we finally reached the end of the line and finally joined the tournament as contestants.Me,Momo and Hashirama were placed in different arenas but our matches would be taking place at the same time,therefore making it impossible for us to watch each other unless we were to use the shadow clone technique.
It was troublesome so we didn't do it but not only that,we were confident that each odf us would make it to the finals easily.
Anyway,as we bid one another good luck,we left for our tournament venues.In the Shokugeki,it went easy and was unanimously decided.All three judges voted for us.It was the same for Momo and Hashirama too.
Oh well,it'll hopefully work out next time for our opponents next year.Anyway,over the days,we experimented on food ideas to improve the taste of our dishes.
This was because even if we could cook amazing food,we would still want to see if we can improve the taste of our food even further.We were stumped with that then it struct me,how about chemistry?
We should rather see how the molecules affect each other and how they would either counteract or affect the taste of the dish.
With that,we experimented in between our matches.Sadly to say,out experimentation didn't go so well as we came out with no real improvements.
It was soon to be the finals.We were near the end of the tournament and were now waiting for our matches to end.I gave them a peck on their cheeks and wished them good luck as we left for our matches that would start in a moment.
