"Real appearance? So I can't customize my own character? That's really lame," Rao Wei shook her head as she thought.
She was very disappointed by this sudden revelation.
Rao Wei played RPGs whenever she had time to do so and the most crucial part of any new RPG to her was the character customization.
Upon getting a new RPG whether it was online or not, she would first look at the character customization. Depending on the character customization – the game would drop into one of the three categories.
If the game had no character customization, she would drop the game immediately and would even try to get a full refund for the said game.
If the game had at least minimal character customization, she would give it a chance.
This chance differed for an MMORPG and an RPG.
In an online RPG or an MMORPG, she would level up her character to the level cap before moving on to the next game but in a single-player RPG, she would clear the main story of the game before moving on to the next game.
If the game had a full character customization with many choices, she would excitedly play an MMORPG or an RPG until she cleared every part of the said game before moving on to the next one.
Now that the character customization was unavailable this game dropped in the first category of games which she would have dropped immediately without giving it a chance but since this game was the first VRMMORPG she tried, she decided to give it a chance nonetheless.

How did they even get an okay to release the game with such a ridiculous feature?" she sighed and her thoughts continued, "I can already see someone sue the game company and them closing down. I wonder how long it will take, a month, a week or even a day."

"I can't even select my race?" she harrumphed and she got even more annoyed.

A big screen appeared in front of her and on this screen a selection of classes appeared.

Rao Wei looked at the three options and frowned. She thought, "I can least select my own class. That said, I am not going to become anyone's anything. There is only one option for me here."
Rao Wei extended her hand and tapped, <Fallen Valkyrie>

"I should just use what I always use," she thought before typing in a name, <V-a-l-e-i-f>
Once she was done, she pressed the <Confirm> button. The keyboard and the screen disappeared and a message sounded,

The surroundings changed and she was in a new location. After she appeared in this zone a few system messages followed,

"Why did the quest I received say my level would be reduced to <Level 1> and why do I feel like there is something on my back?" Valeif thought and she turned her head. She saw a black pair of wings on her back.
"I have wings, so can I fly?... Let's try it," she thought.
She closed her eyes and concentrated on the pair of the wings on her back. In just a moment the wings flapped and the girl rose slightly above the ground. Valeif opened her eyes and smiled. "So I can actually fly," she thought.
She descended onto the ground and laughed out loud. "Virtual reality is cool," she said in a loud excited voice. "I can even overlook the lack of character customization because of this," she thought.
The shout earlier had alerted the monsters that were in the area, they quickly appeared before her.
"Mhm?" Valeif looked at the two monsters standing before her. They were black, bear-sized wolves.

Valeif thought, "Level 456?"
The two hounds pounced at the girl at the same time. She reacted and moved her hand swiftly, the two monsters got hit by a wave of the hand a message flashed,

Valeif stared at the corpses of the two monsters of an absurd level and blinked her eyes. She thought, "I killed them with a wave of my hand? What level am I?"
She without waiting for anything extended her hand, clenched it then formed a fist and released it. With this action, the menu opened. She selected the first option without looking through the menu and the character window opened. She only looked at the line of text where her Level was listed.

As she was looking at her Level, a cold wind blew past her and her body shook. The girl thought, "Why is it so cold?" She looked down and saw that she was wearing only a bra and panties. She stared at only two pieces of clothing in shock.
She shouted loudly, "Why am I only wearing underwear!"
With the shout, three more <Hel Hound, Level 456> appeared. Valeif didn't have time for them and so she slapped them and killed them with one motion.

The girl looked at the equipment and her eyes widened and she saw that she had no items equipped even the weapon was missing. She looked down at her appearance one more time and she cursed loudly, "What the hell! I can't walk around with only underwear!"
