Dro returned to the entrance of the village and approached the old man with a yellow question mark above his head. "I have killed the boars," he said.

The old man nodded, "Thank you and now that you slew the boars around the village, you have eased the minds of the villagers. They can now farm with ease but that doesn't mean that there is nothing that threatens our small village, in fact, there are two threats. If you desire to help us then I will tell you what needs to be done,"

<Quest Completed>

<Rewards>

<+100 XP>

<Level Up>

<Level 2>

<You have been awarded 30 attribute points>

<You have 30 Unspent Attribute Points>

"What are the tasks?" Dro asked as he heard what the old man said and saw a yellow exclamation mark above the old man's head.

"Thank you… Now for the task—recently wolves inhabiting the forest to the East have begun overpopulating and I fear that if this overpopulation continues, one day the wolves will leave the forest and come to our village. Stop it before it gets out of hand, slay 20 young wolves."

<Quest Received>

<Slay 20 Young Wolves>

<Rewards>

<+150 XP>

<Accept, Decline>

"With my damage, it will be a piece of cake," he thought and nodded, "Alright."

<Quest Accepted>

"Now for the second task. To the West, there is another forest and as the forest to the East, another overpopulation is taking place but unlike the wolf one, this overpopulation is already showing results. The boars that you found around the village is the cause of that overpopulation. Go to this forest and slay 30 boars."

<Quest Received>

<Slay 30 Boars>

<Rewards>

<+150 XP>

<Accept, Decline>

"Another killing quest? This will easily raise me above <Level 10> when I am done with these two quests… Wait a minute if these two quests were available, then why was I the first one to have reached <Level 10>?..." After a breath of time of not thinking up of any logical reason he shook his dismissing this thought and then said, "I will do it."

<Quest Accepted>

"I will wait for the good news, adventurer," the old man smiled.

Dro took a step back from the old man, opened his character window and allocated the points; just like before putting 15 points into Strength, 10 points into Dexterity and the last 5 points into Vitality.

"I should begin with the boar killing quest as there are more monsters to kill but before that, I should identify my green item," he thought; walked passed the old man and into the village. Inside the village, he moved his eyes to the minimap and the top-right of his HUD and smiled as he saw an icon for only the item examiner.

"There it is," he thought and walked to the location of the item examiner.

Arriving at the location of the icon, he saw a small building that was of Romanesque architecture, "This must be it," he thought; walked inside and saw the old man standing behind the counter; around ten yards away from Dro.

<Item Examiner, Richard>

"Please come in!" Richard said with a smile.

Dro turned his head to both to the left and to the right, looking around; in the small shop, he could saw a wooden counter and a door which was behind the counter and led into another room. After looking around, he came up to Richard, "I want an item identified."

"Alright," Richard nodded and a window opened. It was the same window that opened when he was getting his items examined by Janet, the item examiner from the Vampire Novice Village.

Dro, like always, selected the item he wished to be examined but unlike before, a window opened once he made his selection.

<Boar's Boots, Identification Cost: 50 Copper>

<Confirm, Decline>

"What?!" he shouted out shocked.

Richard looked at him with a slight frown, "Is something wrong, adventurer?"

"You want 50 copper?" Dro asked with eyes wide open.

Richard nodded, "That's right, for your item it's only 50 copper."

Dro shook his head; closed the window, "I don't even have 1 copper let alone 50…" he said in a dejected voice and turned to leave.

"Adventurer wait a moment!" Richard shouted out.

Dro had only turned around and not taken a single step when he heard Richard's shout; then he turned back and faced him, "What is it?"

"A few adventurers had passed by my shop and they all had dejected expressions like yours when they found out that they had to pay to get items identified, so I am going to tell you what I told them. Go to the capital Zandar and start training in a profession. You can earn money that way."

"A profession?" Dro thought and then he nodded, "Thank you,"

Richard nodded with a smile, "Glad to be of help."

Dro walked out of the building. "It's has been quite a while since I checked the help page maybe now there is more information there," he thought; opened the menu and selected the help option.

<Favourability>

<Quests>

<Items>

<Fighting higher levelled/lower levelled enemies>

<Item Examination>

"It updated," he raised his eyebrow in surprise and selected the item examination option.

<To Examine an item you must visit an item examiner in a city and pay the fee for the grade of the item>

<Item's Level 1-10>

<Green: 50 Copper>

<Blue: 5 Silver

<Purple: 1 Gold

<Cyan: 5 Gold

<Orange: 20 Gold

<Red: 50 Gold>

He didn't even look at the prices beyond those; his eyes narrowed, "Picking a profession is a must or I won't be able to equip any items as monsters rarely drop any money, quests don't usually reward it as well and most importantly the cost will only get higher," he thought; then returned back to help window and selected the last remaining option <Fighting higher levelled/lower levelled enemies>.

<Fighting monsters that are 2 levels lower/higher increases damage done/taken by 50%>

<Fighting monsters that are 3 levels lower/higher increases damage done/taken by 150%>

<Fighting monsters that are 5 levels lower/higher increases damage done/taken by 300%>

"Hmm, so that's why I did more damage to low levelled monsters, well I should go do those quests now," he thought; closed the help window and walked out of the village; just as he stepped out of the village, in front of him he saw a party of three he met once before. They stopped in front of each other. The leader of the party Berm wanted to say something but then he saw Dro's level his eyes winded in shock, "You are level 2?!" he shouted out.
