"Did you hear about how Zuhn got accepted to Windwood?"
Charlotte was quite surprised, she was apart of Dark Star. She was an enforcer for the sect in this town. She took care of all of the 'issues' in the town.
_Zuhn was able to join Windwood, he must have grown extremely powerful. He probably learned how to use his Ancient Magic._
"Scar… Have you heard of Ancient Magic?"
Scar was a little confused about the question, "Nope."
Charlotte let out a small breath and continued to clean around her house.
"Though, there was this book that I found a couple years back. I couldn't open the book, but when Zuhn grabbed the book he was able to open it."
"A Book? Could you go get me that book."
Scar nodded his head and left her house.
When Scar came back he was carrying a book that had a leather cover. On the cover was random words and shapes. Charlotte examined the book for a couple of minutes then tried to open the book.
For several minutes Charlotte struggled to try and open the book. Finally, she gave up and threw the book across the room.
"Scar, You said that Zuhn joined Windwood right?"
"Yes! He is leaving in a couple hours with Shi Huang. They are going back to their sect."
Charlotte smiled and grabbed the book, signaling for Scar to walk over to her.
"Yes?"
"Scar, I want you to bring Zuhn this book. This book is very special if he's able to open it. Then I think it will help him in the long run."
Scar laughed a little, deep down Scar wanted to go back and see Zuhn. He hadn't seen him in a while. He knew that it was a great honor to join a sect. Especially the strongest one in the region.
Scar quickly took the book and headed to the west gate of the town. He was filled with joy. When he was standing on top of a hill, looking down at the west gate. Below stood Zuhn with Shi Huang both talking casually.
"Zuhn, You should know that winning against the core disciples isn't going to be easy."
Zuhn nodded his head, he really didn't mind about fighting the core disciples. He mostly wanted to just wander around the continent and find stronger people to fight.
In his last fight against the sect leaders, he was thrilled. It was one of the better fights he has had since he got to this new world. He knew that joining the sect would make him be able to fight new people.
Though it will also able him to travel around and fight others.
"Yes, I know they aren't going to be easy. Let's just hope they aren't too weak though." Zuhn smiled as he sensed a familiar aura around them.
Scar was running over to the two of them. None of the guards around the two men even noticed Scar coming up. The only people that even noticed Scar was Zuhn and Shi Huang.
When Shi Huang saw Scar he took out his weapon and was about to strike at Scar.
"Zuhn! It's been a while!"
Zuhn nodded his head and turned to Shi Huang.
"This is Scar, I and he met in a strange situation"
Shi Huang was shocked when Zuhn told him about the strange situation. He didn't know if Zuhn was telling the truth or he joking around. When he looked at Scar, his expression didn't change after Zuhn said that.
Scar stood still when he found out that man in front of him was the sect leader of Windwood. He stood still, not moving but letting Zuhn speak for him.
When Zuhn finished explaining who Scar was to Shi Huang he looked back at Scar.
"Why are you here?"
Scar got out of his frozen state and took out the Magic Book. Shi Huang's eyes lit up when he saw the book.
"I-Is that an Ancient Magic Book!?"
Zuhn took the book and opened it. He nodded his head towards Shi Huang's question.
"You can open it!"
Zuhn looked through the book again just like last time. Only this time he started to slowly understand everything. The words in front of him started to change from weird letters to English.
_Wow, I can read this know._
"Zuhn, Fighting the Core Disciples is pointless now. If you are able to learn Ancient Magic than I will appoint you as my personal disciple!"
"Wow!" Scar was shocked, he has never heard of someone becoming a personal disciple!
Zuhn wasn't really listening, he was too focused on reading the book. Inside the book, there were multiple techniques that looked fairly easy. Five Scar Slash, Magical Dagger, Eight Dancing Slashes.
Each one of these skills looked easy, and they all went with his dagger. Five Scar Slash sent five invisible slashes towards the enemy. While Magical Dagger turned your weapon into anything basic weapon.
The Eight Dancing Slashes was the strongest skill out of the three. This skill sent small bunches of slashes around the user. Zuhn first looks at the Five Scar Slash in detail.
"Zuhn?" Shi Huang saw that Zuhn was started to do random moves on where he was standing.
"Move out of the way, both of you." Behind the two of them, there was a man in cuffs that was going to be executed to kill two people in the town. Right now he was being transported with other death row inmates.
Zuhn kept reading the book and going over the moves in front of him. Once he got the hang of everything he decided to put them together.
_Let's try this._
Zuhn put all the steps together and aim the attack at the man at the gate. The attack sent five slashes towards the man. Shi Huang could barely see the slashes before they hit the target.
The man's head completely exploded, causing his brain to fly everywhere. The guards around the man picked for a second, before looking at Shi Huang.
Shi Huang shook his head and told the men to clean up the body. He then looked back at Zuhn.
"That was incredible. To be able to send slashes towards a target without them even realizing it. "
Zuhn was slightly out of breath after sending out the attack. Next, however, was the Magical Dagger. This one was the easiest out of all of them. All it did was change the weapon in his hand.
Zuhn took out his dagger and started to think about a longsword in his mind. Before everyone's eyes, the dagger started to turn into a longsword.
Both Scar and Shi Huang were shocked. They have never seen this before. Someone being able to switch their weapon to another one with no effort.
Finally the last skill, Eight Dancing Slashes. Zuhn whispered to Shi Huang, asking him to bring over multiple death row inmates. Shi Huang agreed only because of what he just saw in front of him.
The guards gathered almost all of the death row inmates and put them around Zuhn. Zuhn looked at the book again and learned mostly all of the steps.
"Alright, this one has quite a big range."
Everyone moved back around fifty meters from the inmates. Once Zuhn started to use the skill, violet light involved his body. Shi Huang could see the slashes vaguely, but there were hundreds of them. All of them flying in different directions.
Every time one of the inmates got into contact with just one of the slashes their whole bodies became just blood. Once the skill was done, all that was left was clothes and blood of the inmates all around Zuhn.
Some of the guards threw up, while others were scared about how strong Zuhn was. Shi Huang, on the other hand, was very excited. The last time he has seen someone be able to use Ancient Magic was over 800 years ago.
