Lu Cheng had her eyes closed while sitting on a wooden bench located against the wall. She opened her right eye a slight sliver and saw a typical young couple walked in front of her, the boy carrying all the girl's shopping bags while the girl pranced around without a care.
She sighed softly and closed her eye.
When accepting such a high-ranking job and seeing the high pay, she had expected something more extreme, with danger and adrenaline, not sitting around and watching people going through her daily lives. Even after a month of working as a security guard she had experienced nothing.
"Ling Ling, today let's go out and I'll buy you anything you want!" A familiar voice said sweetly.
"Oh, you're so sweet Qiu Qiu!" A female voice responded happily.
Lu Cheng froze for a split second before a wave of coldness enveloped her. She creaked her eyes open slowly and saw him.
Qiu Yuhan stood in front of her with a sneer. His sneer was like a dagger piercing into her darkest memories, always reminding her of her past. The woman besides him snuggled closer and a satisfied grin appeared. It seemed that he was here to gloat again.
Ever since Qiu Yuhan had discovered that she worked in this mall as a security guard he brought his 'Ling Ling' and showed their affection in front of her constantly. Eating ice cream together, drinking a soda with two straws or having a plate of spaghetti simultaneously, she had seen it all.
And since today was Valentine's Day, of course he simply had to come.
"Ling Ling, you light up my world. I'd do swim through a sea of fire or climb a mountain of knives for you. What is this compared to that?" Qiu Yuhan said 'sincerely', grabbing her two small hands. Ling Ling blushed instantly and kissed him sweetly.
Lu Cheng felt like throwing up in disgust. She remembered how he had said the exact same thing to her, how he would swim through a sea of fire or climb a mountain of knives. Words could not describe how much she wanted to shout, 'He would throw you aside like trash without hesitation if there was benefits!'
But she knew how woman were, how sentimental was weak they were, how a single word could shatter their fragile hearts. She was a famous model that had appeared on fashion week dozens of times.
Heh, Lu Cheng felt a trace of thanks for that pig. Now that her heart had been shattered by him, no one could ever break it again.
Lu Cheng closed her eyes once again, beginning to become indifferent to their actions. She soon fell into a light sleep.

However, inside of being downcast, Su Hong's hopes were instantly lifted. He had gotten used to his brother denying every woman that he put in front of him. The fact that he didn't show disgust or contempt was already amazing.
Meanwhile Gui Mu sat in the café shyly, blushing deeply. When her family arranged this blind date with such excitement she had laughed at their childish happiness, not believing that the CEO Su Jiang was anything special. After all, there has been no men that ad managed to make her turn her head.
But the moment her eyes had landed on Su Jiang it was like her life had been completed, as if he were the missing puzzle piece that could make her whole. His unfazed eyes, his professional stride, his fierce demeanor, his handsome facial features and his unbelievably sexy body.
