"I love you too" Viv replied calmly. But only if Ira could see his face would she look at his eyes, almost popping out of its sockets.
He was stunned and overwhelmed by her confession.
After a few moments, Ira muttered: "Viv, why do you even love me? You must have hated me when I was mean and bitter after the marriage when I_."
Turning his head sideways towards her. "Shh" Viv said, placing a finger on her lips.

He looked at her with affection and added: "Ira, do you know what the difference between like and love is? 'Like' is when you see a pretty flower, and you want to pluck it. 'Love' is when you see it, you, instead, want to water it and shelter it from the storm."
Brushing her face with his warm palms he said:" You know I thought it for a long time why do I love you. I can give you many reasons, but those are just simple words. Ira, no words can explain my love. I understood one thing; Love happens, it needs no reasons or planning. All I wanted was you beside me. See you every day, kiss you before going to work, kiss you after coming back home. That was all I wanted."
His words made her feel more guilty about her past behavior.

Viv held her wrist turned around and pulled her close. He looked down at Ira who was sitting on the bed warmly caressing her face while she kissed his chest. Rain of small kisses on his washboard abs.
He pulled her to his chest. His heartbeat vigorously he let out a moan when she bit his nip.
She shyly looked at him and kissed it. Rolling it with her tongue, she let him swim in ecstasy, his eyes closed. Suddenly she took a step back and retreated and giggled. Teasing him, she stuck out her tongue playfully.
Her laughter was provoking him. He took a step towards her, and she stepped back until she reached a corner.
His face was so close that she felt his breath on her face with lips almost near each other, but he was not moving any closer, deliberately teasing her.
She took the initiative and licked his lower lip and moved away. Figuring out her reaction Viv hooked her neck and kissed passionately.
His hands reached her softest place, she shuddered.
Lights went off, but the play continued.
When the morning sunlight fell through the window, Ira got up to find herself in Viv's arms.
After her rebirth every time, whenever Ira wakes up in Viv's arms, she has a feeling that everything is unreal. That he will vanish if she closes her eyes again. Hence she always tried to wake up earlier than him to feel his presence. At times when he is not around Ira panicked, would check her phone for the date; whether the day is the same and she hasn't returned to her time.
Only after assessing the situation and finding her husband did she felt reassured.
