There was a long dinner table connected to two round tables in the room. Placed on it were a lot of delicacies, from Lamb, Angus Meats, Steaks & Chops, to many Kinds of pasta, Chicken and Seafood dishes. And cakes, pastries, cookies as well.
Everyone was already seated. It was an alumni reunion. There were a lot of people her seniors, her juniors. Ira recognized a few faces, but their names were still hard to remember.
It was more than seven years she last heard of them. However, in reality for her, it was nearly a couple of decades.
Putting on her indifferent face was the only option, as she walked inside ignoring the eyes on her.
Even though she knew no one. Everyone knew Ira.
