And to be honest he wasn't proud of it he knew the Shinobi world was dark but he realized that in everything he does he only sees the dark and not light.

He finally realized something the Third Hokage never treated him wrong he never even felt truly bad intentions towards him yet he blamed him for certain things and showed hate towards him.
Robin also realized he was never the new savior Naruto was still here. Robin knew his mental health was suffering over a year ago yet he never decided to reflect on himself and how to better himself.
He just thought it was part of becoming a savior even if he never spoke out about it he deep down wanted to become a savior.
After a long while of reflection Robin came to conclusions and made some decisions:
1. He would treasure his family, friends and this village he never knew the importance of a real home because of his past life he never took the time to truly live in one place. But he decided to start from now on, he would live his life in Konoha as long as possible.
2. He would no longer follow canon storyline or back stories because who knows if it was changed starting from now on he would make his own decisions and live day by day.
3. He would start to interact with the main characters of this story. He had loved this series before so why was he so dark minded right now? He didn't want to change the story and just blend in and enjoy the story as it goes. Deep down he realized it he treated this as a game or a weird dream, not real life. He always was spouting shit like I'm going to enjoy this life but to be honest for the time that he was here he didn't even try to enjoy this life. He just trained so what if he became strong but still didn't have fun would he just die once again with regret?
But to do these things he knew he had to face his emotions once and for all and not let them define him but he would need to gain control over them.
So this is how we got to this point where Robin decided to ask his little brother.

This heart demon showed him what his arrogance and pride could lead him to he knew what could happen for a long time because of all the books he had read but never confronted the thoughts since he was thinking he was the protagonist of this world and everyone should bow before him.
This heart demon showed him a life that could happen if he would continue the way he was going he lived through only 30 short years.
He didn't achieve anything he was a prideful bastard that got strong. Like really fucking strong but he didn't have anything his father was disappointed in him he never even married al because of his pride he saw no one as worthy of the genius himself.
In the end, he was killed just as he was about to enter the god's realm he didn't know by who but he died a miserable death.
Robin finally realized that his pride could drag him down and make his life miserable.

After all of this, the last heart demon attacked.

But he could never forgive himself for his pride and arrogance yet he still acted that way till the end of his days.
He should have lived a peaceful life in the gods realm living for millions of years but Robin couldn't forget his father the man he had disappointed the image of Kakashi looking at him while uttering the words "I wish I hadn't adopted you."

"They are my light" Robin whole heartily smiled for the first time in a long time.
"That's right Nii-san the true test of this is to realize that there is light in this dark world if you wouldn't have realized this you would have died at the first heart demon," Cofa told him while smiling feeling happy about the change in his Nii-san.
'I now understand why some of our clan cant beat it. They never had any light in their life so how could they have ever beaten this test' Cofa realized that it wasn't needed to have high strength to beat this test.
