"Good morning father" Kakashi had just woken up when he saw Robin but what he didn't understand why was he was called father by the little guy? "Why did you call me father," asked Kakashi kinda unsure if he heard it right "well aren't you my father? Since I was a little child you were there and raised me you've been here for as long, I can remember" "get out" Kakashi said kinda annoyed, but there could be heard some excitement in his voice. After Robin closed the door, Kakashi started to think "I have raised him, maybe adopt him into my family as an adopted son won't be too bad? Wait what am I thinking." After a while, Kakashi decided to stop thinking about it and went downstairs
"I have made breakfast for you dad" Kakashi was shocked again this kid never made breakfast for him he didn't even know he could also make breakfast and why was he calling him father al of a sudden? after thinking about it, Kakashi decided to ignore it.
This went on for three days where Robin would call Kakashi father all day long to help him with everything and Kakashi had accepted it and started to enjoy it. But Kakashi still didn't officially adopt Robin why?
He was scared to genuinely care for the kid and form an unbreakable bond with him since a lot of the people he loved with all his heart died. His father, Obito, Rin, and Minato had all died, and this left Kakashi scarred he was terrified. As if Robin could read his mind he heard these words next "what would I do without you I have no one that cares about me you're the only one that ever gave me so much love, so that's why you feel like a parent to me." Those words were straight from Robin's heart these two years he started to truly look at Kakashi as his father as he had no one in his past life that cared this much just a bunch of fake friends nothing more they acted like they cared but didn't but Kakashi was different he truly worried about him.
"that's right I'm the only one in this boys life he is the same as me" at that moment Kakashi finally realised the child had no one but him Kakashi himself had no one he had lost everyone so they were almost the same and finally he made his decision, he would raise this child and do everything to protect him.
"Do you truly see me as your dad?"
"yes I do"answered Robin with 100% certainty, and he truly meant it.
"Fine I will see you as my son starting today," Kakashi said with a soft voice.

Robin was happy not because he had unlocked above average talent, to be honest, he didn't even hear the system he was so pleased that after so many years someone truly cared about him.

Lord third: "so why do you want to quit being an Anbu Kakashi I had already given you time off" lord third was kinda annoyed if Kakashi didn't have a good reason he wouldn't let him quit since he was one of his most trusted ANBU's it would be a real loss if Kakashi went away.
But that wasn't all of it Kakashi's father was his best ANBU, and he was scared that Kakashi would walk a dark route after leaving the ANBU and start to get depressed since he had no one.
It wasn't that rare for a shinobi to fall into a depression it wasn't weird at all why? It's kinda obvious how can you deal with losing all your friends and killing all the time without talking to anyone about it. There were enough cases that shinobi's after duty took their own lives or just got purposely killed in battle to have a little honor left and that's what lord third didn't want to happen to Kakashi, or he couldn't look Sakumo in his eyes in the afterlife. What not many people knew was that Hiruzen and Sakumo actually were friends so to see his deceased friends son slip into depression and maybe follow his father? That wasn't happening on his watch.
"Do you remember the kid I took with me four years ago?" this was an unexpected development Hiruzen had long forgotten about that incident "Yes why does he have something to do with this decision to leave the ANBU?"
When Hiruzen looked over at Kakashi who stood before his desk he was surprised to see something like excitement in his eyes usually Kakashi looked half dead out of his eyes, so it was surprising to see so much emotion in them.
Kakashi hesitated, and then he spoke up "yes Robin has lived with me for the past two years, and I started to dote on him like.. a father would for a son" BOOM you could hear a chair falling it was Hiruzen
"you.. yo.. you.. raised a child?" Hiruzen was truly shocked he knew Kakashi since little and knew his personality well it was weird for him to even care about such a child but to raise him? THAT WAS ON A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL but what he heard next truly shocked the life out of him.
"Yes lord third and… I have decided to adopt him as my adopted son, so I came here to not only end my duty from the ANBU but also to change his name to Robin Hatake."
Hiruzen calmed down took his chair and sat down and continued "why have you decided to adopt this child you understand that this is a lifetime commitment right?" Hiruzen himself had children so he knew what kind of duty Kakashi would undergo and he needed to be reminded of what it meant to adopt a child.
"Yes I understand lord third but the child has shown me love since his birth I let him live with me since he hated the orphanage but slowly the child started to grow onto me to the point that I would worry about him while training if he didn't hurt himself or if he liked the food or if he liked living with me". This was the first time Kakashi told his thoughts out loud, and he genuinely felt better after it he had spoken from his heart and it was amazing to do so you could also hear the excitement in his voice while talking about these little things.
"so it's like that alright fine you can leave the ANBU but when can I meet the little boy?" Asked Hiruzen with a happy face and it was true he was pleased, to have Kakashi train a little boy? He would become a monster, and Kakashi also looked so much happier "I guess you don't have to worry about your boy anymore Sakumo" whispered Hiruzen he was truly scared the past few years for Kakashi that he would fall into depression, but it looked like this little boy had saved him of that. Hiruzen made a mental note to thank the kid when he grew up for making Kakashi this happy about life.
"You can meet him tomorrow lord third he is entering the academy tomorrow," told Kakashi happily.
"Alright, I look forward to meeting him tomorrow." Hiruzen was excited he wanted to meet the child that could turn this emotionless Kakashi in the Kakashi of the past.
