Even if we defeat it, there’s going to be a lot of troublesome thing to settle. It really looks like some kind of Online Game.
“There’s too many adventurers, it’s going to be troublesome to raise our levels with our low reputation.”
Lelena complained while looking amazed. In this kind of situation, its useless unless we go down on the lower floor right? We head towards the lower floor with tired feelings. When we finally thought that the people had decreased, we already arrived at the 10th underground floor.

Although we cannot be sure since we haven’t found any enemies yet, the surroundings feels a bit better with the new lantern. As expected people will get stressed easily while being surrounded by darkness. Since there’s no safety zone, we decided to rest for a bit at a slightly large passage.

We also met a couple of parties while we’re taking a rest. There’s several huge bad looking men, a brown girl with silver hair that have a slave crest, totaling 5 people, including a Beastman little girl that looks like a 6 years old. While I observe thinking that it’s the usual combination, the huge man glared at me. What’s wrong with this guy? You wanna fight?
He clicked his tongue with a “tch” and left after I glared back. As I’ve confirmed that all of their members haven’t reached Level 20 yet, they might have thought it’s going to be bad having to go against us.
“Have you seen that guy just now?”
“Yeah. I’ve once gone with them on a party. You’ve seen that slave right? He used the slave bought with money as a shield and use them till the end of their lives.”
According to Amyl’s explanation, there’s that kind of circumstances.
They first buy a slave that can fight for them. However, the slave with high fighting power had high pride and possess great mental strength. There’s a chance that they won’t obey the orders. Although I heard that the slave that go against their master’s orders will receive various type of pain on their whole body from the slave crest, the slave with strong willpower might be able to overcome it.
Therefore one of the effective method to control the slave is by using a hostage. They’ll kill the hostage if the slave refuse to obey. Thus they’re ordered to fight even if they hate it.
“The party from a while ago, the hostage seems to be the beastman little girl. The dark elf seems to unwillingly had to fight for her.”

According to the map they’ve advanced pretty far, if you take the distance in a straight line they’re around 500 meters ahead of us? But the situation suddenly becomes weird. When the red dots indicating enemies appeared, the blue one runs towards us in confused manner. There’s likely a fight.
Only two of the blue dots remained there, while the rest seems to have come running towards us. When I see a shadow of a person gradually approaching us, I only saw the huge men from before running in a panic. I don’t see neither the Dark Elf nor the Beastman little girl.
“Move away! You’re in the way!”
I shove one of my foot towards the men who’s going to pass us while shouting.
“Dowaaa!?”
The men got piled on top of one another while raising exaggerated screams. While stamping on the back of those guys, I decided to ask them questions.
“Oi you people. What did you do with those girls who’re with you?”
“Huh!? It got nothing to do with you right!? Since they’re just slaves I decided to make them as shield! I can just get a new one when I get back to town! If you understand that then stop blocking my way!”
I see, they’re garbage as expected. It’s useless to hesitate with these kind of people.
