Mars looked at the guard and was about to repeat himself when he remembered something and looked back at the gate that still seemed to have been stopped in time and waved his hand, with that movement alone the gate seemed to go reverse in time and reassembled itself just like a videotape going backward, the guards eyes almost left their sockets before they looked at Mars with awe, Mars gave a slight smile and spoke
"Don't hold me to your mortal standards... Remember I am a god, if you play tricks on me I'll likely play some tricks on you too... Now take me to your leader"
The guard Mars stood and looked at gave a nervous nod and spoke
"P-please your excellency follow after me, I'll take you to see the governess"
Mars gave a nod and landed on the ground before he began walking leisurely after the guard, as they walked through the streets Mars looked around at the city around him and gradually got a sense of awe, the entire city seemed to have been carved from a single rock of red granite, the buildings got taller as one neared the center of the city and as they did the red granite got more and more silver in color and half an hour of walking later when they reached the middle of the city the previous red granite had turned silver and seemed to give off a lusters glow in the sunlight
"Reporting! I bring a guest to see the governor!"
The guard stood in front of the entrance to the palace and spoke out to closed gate in front of him, after some time passed the gate still remained closed and the guard turned around with a nervous look on his face as he spoke to Mars
"Y-your excellency what do---"
Mars raised a hand and stopped him from speaking before he spoke
"You have done well so I won't make things difficult for you, return to your post and... Be sure to look forward to the fireworks"
The guard gave a nod, even though he didn't know what Mars meant with 'fireworks' he didn't dare question him and thus he gave a salute and walked back towards the outer wall on his own, Mars looked at the closed gate and gave a sigh before he suddenly disappeared from view and reappeared on the other side of the gate to the surprise of the palace guard that only were surprised for a moment before they surrounded him in a formation ready to kill him, with over 50 spears pointed at him Mars only let out a faint smile and spoke
"Looks like I need to play another prank..."
Then he waved his hand and all but one of the palace guards fell over, they were not dead as Mars already considered the city for his and thus they were already his people, they just didn't know it yet. Mars turned to the one remaining palace guard and spoke
"Take me to the governor, I have something to discuss with her"
The guard glanced at his comrades that she didn't know the fate of, Mars gave a smile and spoke
"Relax they have merely fainted, They will wake up in a few hours"
The guard showed a brief flash of relief before she asked
"... Why didn't you kill them?"
"Because I am a god, killing mortals that are simply doing their job isn't my hobby... besides I'll soon be their boss so why should I kill my own guards?"
"You mean... You want to take over the city?"
"Yes, under me it will prosper for millenniums to come... Now show me to the governess"
The guard showed a conflicted look and struggled for a while before she kneeled down and cheeked one of her comrades and confirmed that he was still alive before she gave a sigh of relief and gave a nod before she spoke
"I'll take you to the governor"
Mars gave a smile and followed after the palace guard into the palace, soon they reached one of the innermost rooms where two elite guards stood guard, the palace guard gave a salute and spoke
"I bring a guest to see the governor"
The elite guards opened the doors and Mars walked past them into the room along with the palace guard, inside the room stood an elderly lady with her back turned to the entrance, she stood and looked out of the window at the NNE's army in the distance, when she heard the door to the room being opened she turned around and saw Mars along with the palace guard and gave a frown before she spoke
"You must be the messenger from the NNE... Have you come to advise me to surrender the city?"
Mars gave a smile and spoke
"Nice to meet you, I am Mars the current living god of energy"
The governess showed a confused expression and asked
"A living god?.. No wonder the NNE is so bold, to have a living god act as a messenger..."
Mars gave a bitter smile and pointed past the governess out of the window at the NNE's army and spoke
"Watch"
The governess turned around, just as she did a blinding light shone which made her shield her eyes with her hand, when the light subsided the army that had cursed her so much dread was nowhere to be found, dumbfounded she turned to look at Mars and stammered
"B-but---"
Mars raised his hand to stop her from speaking before he walked over next to her and looked out of the window before he spoke
"I happen to hate the NNE and I want to wipe it out sometime soon... But that's not what I am here to talk with you about... Well to be blunt I want to take over this city"
The governess was about to speak again but Mars once again raised his hand to interrupt her and spoke
"Of course I won't just take it from you... I can buy it if you want, I happen to have about 250.000.000 cel to my name which I could invest in this city and that's not all..."
Mars put his hand on the shoulder of the governess and within moments she seemed to age in reverse turning into a woman in her 20's in mere seconds, the governess touched her face and felt the smooth skin and spoke
"B-but how... wait, my voice.. I sound like I did so many years ago… Did you reverse my aging?"
"Yeah... I remember someone saying that it's the old that knows how valuable time is so I figured the best payment I could give you personally was that, time... Besides I need someone to govern the city for me..."
Mars turned his gaze to the palace guard and spoke
"I also need someone to protect you and therefore I recommend this one... I can tell she cares very much for her comrades"
The palace guard kneeled down at once with a grateful expression on her face before she spoke
"I am afraid I am not worthy... perhaps one of the elite guards can---"
"You will be worthy once I finished training you in a couple of years, now what do you say governess?"
While Mars was providing the governor the four elites from the NNE was panicking greatly, after all their entire army had just disappeared in a flash of light, well most of them where, James still held some semblance of calm as his mind raced
'What was that...? some sort of secret weapon? In that case, they must have paid a giant price for firing it... we can use this if I just get more troops from the country then---'
"Mars sure has gotten strong..."
It was then that James's thought was interrupted by Chloe that spoke a little ways away from him, when those words entered his mind he blanked out before he slowly turned to Chloe and yelled
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?"
Chloe looked undisturbed by James' outburst and spoke simply
"I said Mars sure has gotten strong"
James looked blankly at Chloe for a moment before he busts out laughing
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! WHAT? YOU THINK HE WAS THE ONE THAT WIPED OUT OUR TROOPS!?"
Chole gave James a disdainful look but didn't speak with him anymore, it was simply too much of a bother, James saw her disdainful looked and yelled
"GENERAL I WANT YOU TO KILL THIS BITCH!"
"Yes at once James"
One of the two generals drew a sword and walked towards Chloe that looked at them both like they were idiots before she disappeared from view and reappeared right in front of the general and kneed him in his... Nether regions, then when he fell over and curled up like a shrimp on the ground, then Chloe kicked his head which made him pass out before she shot a look at James as her dragon like eyes shone with an angry light and asked
"What, did you think I would not defend myself? If you want to kill me you better prepare an army the size of the one Mars just wiped out!"

Then he waved his hand and all but one of the palace guards fell over, they were not dead as Mars already considered the city for his and thus they were already his people, they just didn't know it yet. Mars turned to the one remaining palace guard and spoke
"Take me to the governor, I have something to discuss with her"
The guard glanced at his comrades that she didn't know the fate of, Mars gave a smile and spoke
"Relax they have merely fainted, They will wake up in a few hours"
The guard showed a brief flash of relief before she asked
"... Why didn't you kill them?"
"Because I am a god, killing mortals that are simply doing their job isn't my hobby... besides I'll soon be their boss so why should I kill my own guards?"
"You mean... You want to take over the city?"
"Yes, under me it will prosper for millenniums to come... Now show me to the governess"
The guard showed a conflicted look and struggled for a while before she kneeled down and cheeked one of her comrades and confirmed that he was still alive before she gave a sigh of relief and gave a nod before she spoke
"I'll take you to the governor"
Mars gave a smile and followed after the palace guard into the palace, soon they reached one of the innermost rooms where two elite guards stood guard, the palace guard gave a salute and spoke
"I bring a guest to see the governor"
The elite guards opened the doors and Mars walked past them into the room along with the palace guard, inside the room stood an elderly lady with her back turned to the entrance, she stood and looked out of the window at the NNE's army in the distance, when she heard the door to the room being opened she turned around and saw Mars along with the palace guard and gave a frown before she spoke
"You must be the messenger from the NNE... Have you come to advise me to surrender the city?"
Mars gave a smile and spoke
"Nice to meet you, I am Mars the current living god of energy"
The governess showed a confused expression and asked
"A living god?.. No wonder the NNE is so bold, to have a living god act as a messenger..."
