Awesome Awesomener used to be just a regular Awesomener. Of course, he was the best of all in all time-and-space, and higher than gods and emperors.
However, he had always been below a Supreme form of existence - the Realms!
Every single place one could go to was a Realm - a piece of Existence in the Void. As long as they entered that place, they would receive a body and be able to live there.
Such a body would be full of the Realm's particular form of Existence, and that means it was, in truth, a part and property of it!
The Realm's Will could control it just like a wealthy merchant can control the fate of its possessions!
In fact, the Realm's Will itself had a huge advantage upon everything else inside of it - it wasn't a part of the Realm, the Realm was only its possession!
It was how someone's body wasn't their minds, just an important part of their whole being!
Indeed, if someone's body was gravely injured, then its mind would perish - but that was unlikely if it was just a small piece.
This time, the Realm Awesome Awesomener had descended to identified him as something dangerous - like a terrible virus or bacteria.
Reincarnators from other Realms were usually a problem themselves, since they would bring with them knowledge from places with other kinds of Natural Laws, and what distinguished the Realms was only that - how each and every one of them organized their Natural Laws.
Natural Laws were like genetic traits of a Realm - it was their most basic structure and also their form of distinguishing between each other!
By cutting of a part of itself and letting Awesome Awesomener be trapped in there, the Realm wanted to prevent him from infecting the rest of itself - just like how people will cut of pieces of flesh which developed gangrene.
In its mind, Awesome would be either destroyed by the Realm Spawn or, even if he managed to win, at least drift in the nothingness, unable to find a source of energy and then being forced to hibernate.
The Energy Source of the Realms was the greatest secrets of all Realms, and it would be impossible for a simple mortal to understand it!
Indeed, to do that, one would have to be… Awesome.
