Chapter 4.1: Trouble Comes Knocking
“Are all of you very disappointed?” Yun Qing Yan took in everyone’s reaction in his eyes and his gaze then fell onto the accounts room’s head. “Uncle Qian, I still remember I always called you Uncle Qian when I was younger. So Uncle Qian, are you disappointed in me?”
‘Uncle Qian’ was a middle aged man about forty years of age. He hesitated a moment before he nodded his head. “I do not want to hide anything from the Young Master. Your servant does indeed feel very disappointed deep in my heart. You were afterall once the Heaven’s Wing City’s greatest prodigy who attained the Star level’s fifth stage, a super genius. ‘Uncle Qian’ did not finish his sentence, but everyone knew clearly in their hearts that he was either going to say become mediocre or even a useless fool.

All the Heads of Department present said excitedly, the gazes they looked at Yun Qing Yan with were looking more zealous than before.

“Eldest Uncle, you can now announce that I will become the successor.” Yun Qing Yan turned himself around, to look at Yun Han whose face was rather stunned.
“Right, right….. I will announce it right now!” Yun Han was taken aback for a moment more, before he regained his senses. But without waiting for him to make the announcement, the Grand Elder interrupted him.
“Hold it!” The Grand Elder snorted derisively, his face twisted up in a sneer. “Yun Qing Yan, I had not thought after not seeing you for three years, though your cultivation has deteriorated, your mouth has become more glib and highly persuasive! With just one short speech, you had actually deceived everyone here into a tizzy with your honeyed words!”
“But, isn’t your attempt at deceit a little too clumsy! ? To regain back the top spot as the Heaven’s Wing City’s top prodigy within a year? Aren’t you afraid that you might just frighten someone to death with your unbelievably big boast! ? Even if you had not gone missing three years ago, you still might not be able to match up to him, not to even talk about the current you…..”
Yun Qing Yan suddenly raised up his hand before the Grand Elder, to stop him from continuing on. “Grand Elder, you don’t need to spout all these nonsense. It is better if you can be more candid and tell me exactly what you are thinking!”
