It has been a day since me and Troy came back home. I have woken up early in the morning to go to the company and asses the situation. I was entering the building when James, my father's assistant, approached me. "Good morning director Jill." James greeted me. "Good morning James. Is my father already here? He said that we would meet here this morning." I asked. "Yes director. He is in his office now." James replied. "He is expecting you." "Thanks James. And oh please give Andrea everything we need to asses the situation." I said. "Yes ma'am." James said. "Ms. Andrea please follow me. I will give you the print outs." "Okay." Andrea replied. After a while the elevator arrived at the floor of father's office. At the lobby was father's secretary Sarah. She has been working here since I was little. It was nice to see old faces. "Director Jill, good morning." Sarah stood up to greet me. "Your father is waiting for you inside." "Thank you." I replied. I walked towards the door and entered. Inside father was in front of his desk with his head resting on his hands. "Daddy, I'm here." I announced. Father looked up and smiled. "Jill. It's good to see you. Your skin has become a little tanned." I giggled. "Just a little." I walked towards him and gave him a peck on his cheek. "Did you enjoy your honeymoon with your husband? How's my grandchild doing?" Father asked while holding my baby bump. "Troy and I enjoyed Maldives. Little bump has been growing non stop." I said. "Hahaha. Looks like he or she is growing fast and healthy. Thank God." Father said and sighed. I can see the stress on his face. "Daddy Andrea and Shawn has filled me in on the situation." I said. "Yes. Things here in the company has become hard because of the withdrawal of many investors." Daddy said. "Good thing Shawn was there to help us in this dire situation." "Yes, Shawn has told me that he has done everything he could so the company would avoid bankruptcy." I said. "If the company become bankrupt I'm afraid of our many employees who will be unemployed. Searching for jobs now is hard. It will be a little easy for the young employees but what about the old ones." Father explained. I thought about Sarah. She was over the age of searching for a new job. Her youngest son just entered college and this is the crucial point of education. She can't afford to lose a job. "There are many tenure employees here in the company. They can't afford to lose their job now." I said worriedly. "That was what I was thingking." Father said. "Do we have any plans to bring up the stocks and revenue again?" I asked. "I was thinking on helping to negotiate with the investors that withdrawn." "That will be one way. But we are not yet sure if they will come back and invest again. It will take time to come back up again." Father explained. "We can also find new investors. If negotiations with our old investors won't help then I'll try and search for other prospect investors. As your daughter I will personally talk to them to show our credibility." I was set on making the plans work. Either negotiating with the old investors or presenting to new investors. "There is someone that is willing to invest." Father said. I looked at him excited. That means at least we can bring back up the company from the ground. "He has shown interest to invest even with the bad rumors that spread about the plagiarism. He has proposed a partnership with different kinds of departments in the company. He is also excited to venture in our clothing line which he said he would personally be in charge with." "With his business empire, not only would we gain what we lost. For sure we could also surpass our all time high." Father said. "Then that's good father. Why don't we start the negotiations. What business empire and who is the one whose willing to partner up with our company?" I asked excited. "It's the CEO of Montgomery Business Empire, Adrian Montgomery." Father said.
