I was in the front of the press people. Camera flashes are clicking before my eyes.
"Good day to all of you here." I greeted. "I am Queenie Versales. I just recently found out that I am Jillian Rose Williams, the MIA and presumed dead daughter of Mayor Williams."
"Ms. Versales why have you just resurfaced now?" a reporter asked.
"Unfortunately I have amnesia. I can't remember anything before 8 years ago and still my memories hasn't returned." I answered.
"It was said that you had an accident that caused you to be MIA and presumed dead. If I remember correctly you fell of a cliff near your villa correct?" another reporter asked.
I clenched my fist remembering that day. 'So they let it out as an accident? But in the family they said I conmited suicide. Hmph. It was neither of the two.' I thought. I kept my anger at bay. "Yes, that is what my father told me. But all I know is when I woke up in the hospital the doctor's just said I probably fell off a high place to get a concussion and all the body injuries I got." I explained to them.
"It was a miracle that you have survived Ms. Versales. May we know how you were rescued." a reporter asked.
"It was my adoptive brother Troy that found me at sea. He was the one who rescued me." I smiled from the memory when I opened my eyes for the first time and saw his angelic face. "He was my angel."
"How did Mayor know you are his missing daughter that was presumed dead?" another reporter asked.
"I saw her at my stepdaughter Julia's birthday party." it was my father that answered the question. "When I saw her I knew right away that she was my Jillian. I requested her to take a DNA test with me and it came out positive."
Reporters bombarded me and my father with questions regarding my disappearance and my life after that. Not long my headache started to attack. Maybe it's because of the flashes from the camera. I felt dizzy and fell out of balance. A hand caught me by my back. I looked at the person that caught me and I saw those dark blue eyes looking at me worriedly. It was Shawn. Then my eyes started to darken and I passed out.

I opened my eyes slowly. When I look around I was in a hospital bed. I adjusted my eyes and slowly sat down.
"Queenie, you're awake. Take it easy." Andrea was beside me helping me in seating up.
"What happened?" I ask. Then I feel a prick in my head. It looks like I had a headache attack again.
"You had an attack when you were at the press conference. You fainted in front of all the press people. Good thing Shawn was there to catch you in time." Andrea said.
I look around. Shawn and dad are not in the hospital room.
"Why aren't daddy and Shawn here?" I asked.
"Well there was a bit of a commotion when you fainted." Andrea said a little reluctant to tell me.
"What happened?" I asked confused. For sure the press was shocked when I fainted to cause a commotion. But it looks like this wasn't the commotion Andrea meant.
"Well when Shawn caught you the reporters saw it. And bombarded Shawn with questions." Andrea answered. "The have been wedding with him 8 years ago was well known in N city. And they asked if it was the reason that the two of you are having relationship rumors recently."
"Then, what did Shawn answer?" I asked.
"Shawn said the truth. That you are his girlfriend and his engagement with Julia was false." Andrea answered.
"Then this is good news." I said. For sure Julia is going out of her mind right now. "But why isn't Shawn here?"
"Well your father looked like he wasn't very happy with Shawn's big reveal." Andrea said.
The room was quiet. Then I can hear voices just at the door which was a bit open.
"Why can't I see Queenie?" it was Shawn's voice.
"I'm sorry Shawn. I'm not so ecstatic that you are going out with my daughter again." my father said.
"But why? I have already told the public that the engagement of Julia and I are false." Shawn said. His voice starting to get irritated.
"This is not about the false engagement my wife and stepdaughter has done." my father replied. "It's because of the event that resulted to Jill being Queenie."
Then it was silent for a moment.
"Uncle Julian I know it was my fault. It was my fault that Jill jumped off the cliff." Shawn's voice was full of sadness. "For this 8 years I have blamed myself for that. Now that she's back I want to make up for it. I want to show her how much I love her."
"I understand your concern Shawn. I also have a sin that needs to be redeemed. But as her father I want you to give her space first." my father said. "You have robbed me of my baby girl the last time. I don't want that to happened again.
"But uncle, I will never do that again. I have learned my lesson. I can't live without her. Please uncle, let me be with her. Give me another chance" I can hear Shawn's voice shaking. Like he was crying.
"Shawn please not now. Maybe in the future but now I don't want you near my daughter." my father's voice was firm.
It was silent after that. I looked at Andrea. She was shaking her head.
"Well your father is right." Andrea said. "If you're my daughter I would never let you be near the man that caused your death."
"But Andrea, Shawn didn't cause my death. I didn't commit suicide because of Shawn." I said. I never really blamed Shawn for what happened to me. Yes I was hurt that he didn't believe me that day. He just believed what he saw in that hotel room. But I won't blame him because even if I'm the one in his place that day and saw that scene I will also feel hurt and betrayed. Shawn was also a victim of Julia's scheme. Julia was the real culprit.
"What seems to be happening here?" I hear Troy's voice outside the door.
"Oh Troy. You can come in. Queenie is asleep and resting." I hear my father say. Then the door opened. I saw the three outside.
"And why is he allowed to come in." Shawn said with a loud voice. I can see him holding on Troy's hand preventing him from coming in.
