"The wind is getting harder outside. It looks like this will be a nasty snow storm." father said. "Where is Queenie by the way?"
Troy was with my father walking towards the lounge area. "I haven't seen her since I left this afternoon because of some things from work." he answered.
Shawn was seen running towards them. He was out of breath panting heavily. "Have you seen Queenie?" he asked.
"No. Wasn't she just with you?" Troy said.
"Yes but when she said she lost her necklace we parted ways to find it." Shawn answered.
"She's missing?" Troy said surprised.
"Are you looking for Queenie?" Julia just arrived. "I saw her at the entrance a while ago. She said she was searching for her necklace with a ring on it. I said I saw it down the slope where we met this afternoon."
All of them was looking at Julia with shock.
"When did you see her? What time?" Shawn said a little loudly. He was shaking Julia by the shoulder.
"Ouch Shawn it hurts." Julia said.
"Calm down Shawn." Troy said. "Ms. Julia what time did you last see Queenie?" he asked calmly.
Julia looked at the time. "It was roughly an hour ago." she said. "But she said it was not important so she won't look for it. I also said there was a snow storm coming so she wouldn't have gone there. Would she?" Julia asked confused.
Shawn darted out, running like his life was on the line.
"Wait Shawn!" father shouted but Shawn was already gone. "Dammit. Troy I'm going to the front desk. I'll request for a search and rescue."
Troy nodded. He was also planning on going out to search for Queenie. He knew that the ring Queenie lost was the engagement ring he had given to her 4 years ago.
"Wait father. I'm coming...ahh." Julia was running after her father when she tripped.
"Are you okay Ms. Julia." Troy said. He helped Julia up being a gentleman.
"Thanks." Julia said.
While giving a hand Troy saw a chain fall from Julia's jacket pocket. It feel on the ground. He saw a ring on it. He can't be mistaken, that was the ring he gave Queenie. It was a simple ring with a small diamond at the center. He had specifically engraved his and Queenie's initials. 'Forever T&Q' he saw on the ring. This was his promise to Queenie. He picked up the chain.
"Ouch Mr. Troy. Your grip is hurting me." Julia cringed.
"Can you explain why is this in your pocket Ms. Julia?" Troy said coldly. His eyes darkened like a storm is brewing in them.
"Um, you must be mistaken. That's not mine." Julia answered in fright.
"I am well aware this isn't yours because this was the ring I have given to Queenie." Troy's grip tightened more.
"Ouch. Mr. Troy I really don't know what you're talking about. Maybe this was where Queenie dropped her necklace." Julia was really frightened.
"Pray hard that is the case Ms. Julia. You can't imagine what I can do to you." Troy let go of Julia's arm and ran outside.
Julia bite her lips. "Queenie. Why do you have so many people loving you?"
