I open my eyes and look around. I was inside a wooden cabin. I was lying on the floor near the fire place that is the only source of light. I can hear the harsh wind blowing outside. 'Where am I, what happened?' I thought to myself and sat up. I feel a slight pain in my head. My eyes begin to adjust. I remember what just happened. I was outside when the snowstorm hit. I thought I was going to die. But someone came to save me.
"You're awake." a familiar voice said. I look around the cabin searching for him. Then there he was sitting on a chair, my angel. I smiled with relief. His emerald eyes were glowing with the light coming from the fire. I see him sitting there with only a blanket covering him. Then I noticed that I was wrapped in a blanket as well and naked underneath.
"Ahh." I felt embarrassed and covered my shoulders which were exposed.
Troy giggled. "Our clothes were wet so I took them off." he explained. He walked towards me while holding his blanket which is wrapped around him. "You were freezing earlier so I had to use my body heat to raise your temperature up." he sat down beside me.
And I blush even more. 'So just a while ago Troy was hugging me while we were naked.' I thought.
Troy touched my cheeks. "Are you getting cold again?" he asked me.
Now that I think about it my hands and feet are still feeling cold. "A little." I said shyly.
"Come here then." Troy opened his arms and the blanket fell. I can see his well defined body. I gulped unconsciously and felt my throat dry and thirsty but not for water.
Troy chuckled. "And now you get shy? I have already seen your body. And as I remember I have claimed every inch of it." he gives me a wolfish smile.
"Your teasing me again." I said shyly.
I take of my blanket and fell into his welcoming arms. He hugged me gently and covered the both of us with his blanket. I can feel his body heat on my skin. I pressed my hands and feet on him.
"Yikes." Troy said teasingly and slightly shivered. "Your hands and feet feels like ice."
"Stop teasing me." I said while pinching his well defined abs.
"Ouch." Troy flinched and giggled. "Okay, okay. No teasing." he held me closer to him.
"By the way, where are we?" I asked curious.
"When I found you the wind was blowing hard." Troy said. "It was a good thing this cabin was not that far from where I found you. It looks like a cabin where rangers go for emergencies like this snow storm. There are provisions in here so at least we're good for now." he said.
I was feeling warm after a while. I am so glad that it was Troy that have found me. I felt relaxed with him by my side. It was always him who's with me if trouble occurs.
"Troy I'm sorry." I said.
"What for?" Troy asked.
"Well for many reasons actually. But now I'm sorry that I lost the ring you gave me." I said. Remembering it my heart ached. It was my most presious thing from Troy.
"Do you mean this ring?" Troy pulled a chain from behind him. The ring was hanging from it. I looked at it surprised and reached for it.
"How did you find it?" I asked. "I tried searching for it in the snow but didn't find it."
"Of course you won't find it in the snow." Troy said. I looked at him confused. "Because I saw this with Julia. It slipped out from her jacket pocket."
My eyes widened and I felt anger building up.
"Fuck that bitch! She really wants me dead." I said out loud. "I am so disappointed in myself. Why did I fall for her trick?"
"Hush now. Don't worry I'm not going to let her off that easily." Troy said while hugging me close and patting my head.
"No, Troy this is my battle. I want to get my revenge with my own hands." I look at him in the eyes pleadingly.
Troy sighed. "Alright, if that's what you wish. But still I can't forgive her for what she did to you just now. At least let me help you." he said with a gentle voice.
"Good thing I have made my plans beforehand." I said. "Once we get back I'm going to make sure to bring her down. And there will be no going back."
Troy looks at me with those enchanting emerald eyes. I can say he wants to say something but he stops.
"Just you being here by my side is the best help you can give me." I told him. I have decided now what I really want. I took the ring off the chain and placed it in my left hand ring finger. I looked at it and if feels like the ring was in its right place at last. Troy saw me doing this. His eyes were burning with affection.
Troy looks at me straight in the eyes. "Does this mean what I think..?" he left the question incomplete.
I nodded at him and smiled. "I want you to be my side all the way. Not after my revenge but even now. You're my pillar of hope, my angel. You give me strength." I said. I meant every word I said. I don't know if those words were enough to convey my feeling for him. "I love you Troy. Please stay by my side forever." I said pleading.
Troy touched my cheeks. "Silly girl. You don't need to ask. I have promised you that I will forever be by your side. I love you Queenie, now and forever." His eyes were burning. Those emerald eyes that always enchants me are looking at me like it's boring inside my very soul.
Troy is my future. And I will cherish him forever. Slowly he inched his face towards me and planted a kiss on my lips. We share the most meaningful kiss we had ever had.
