"Jillian?" A petite girl with curly auburn hair looked at me curiously. "Yes it's you Jill!" She hugged me.

I was surprised with the sudden action. I can remember her. She was one of my close friends when I entered college, Christina.

"Oh my gosh. You're really alive." Christina was rubbing her tears away. "I saw you on TV but seeing you in person, I really didn't recognize you at all. You are so different when we were in college."

I remember when I was in my youth I saw myself as an ugly duckling. I was quite nerdy and didn't know how to be fashionable so the clothes I picked didn't match me at all. I really didn't have a mother to help me with shopping and my grandmother was an old fashioned woman so she didn't really help with my looks as well.

I look at Christina acting confused.

"Teena, don't scare her." Gerald said while walking towards us. "She doesn't remember you." he said calmly.

"Oh yes I'm sorry. It was a spur of emotions. I don't mean any offense." Christina was wiping away her tears.

"None taken." I give her an awkward smile. I also want to hug her but I have to hold myself. I have to act that I can't remember her.

"Hi Queenie. Long time no see." Gerald said.

"Hello." I waved at him. "Thanks by the way for the food you sent the last time when I got back from the skiing trip. It was delicious."

"Really? That's great." Gerald smiled. "By the way this here is Christina. She's my wife." Gerald hugged her close to him.

"Please call me Teena." Christina offered her hand and I shook it.

"Hello Teena." I said.

"We were good friends back in college. You helped me get together with Gerald." Teena smiled.

"Really! Wow that's great." I genuinely smiled. I remember back then when I helped them get together. I was their bridge. But there was something back in my mind like an itching. 'Isn't there someone with me helping them get together as well?' I thought. My head started to prick in remembering.

"Yes. Shawn and you were planning many sorts of things just to help us be together." Gerald said and chuckled.

"Oh." I looked at Shawn who was just beside me. He was giving me a sweet smile so I smiled back.

"Yes. We planned many events for them. I remember we asked then on group dates and then ditch them on the last minute so they can go alone." Shawn chuckled.

"Really?!" I was laughing. "We did that?"

"Yeah we did all sorts of silly things as well." Shawn was looking at me with his dark blue eyes. I can see the depth in them drawing me in. I snapped back and looked away.

The four of us were chatting a while about the past in college. They tell me all good memories.

I look around to see familiar faces from my past. Then not far away I can see Julia. She was talking with someone but I can't see the face because it was obstructed by the crowd. But from what I can see it was a man.
