Inside the elevator I looked at the number on the screen while it increased one by one. I feel a bit uneasy being alone with Shawn inside a narrow space. He was standing at my back. There was a feeling that I can't seem to describe radiating inside my body. I can hear my heart thumping loudly.
"Queenie." Shawn whispered in my ear. He was inching at closely behind me. "Do you really can't remember me?" His voice was sad. I want to turn and face him but there was something preventing me from turning.
"Hmm?" I asked as if I didn't hear what he said.
Then I feel his arms encircle my waist. My back was leaning on his chest. He embraced me dearly. I gasped in surprise.
"Shawn!" My heart was thumping rapidly now.
"Please remember me. I love you so much." Shawn said. I can hear the saddness in voice.
"I'm sorry." That was all I can say to him. My heart felt sad for this man. I can feel his genuine affection. But my heart only felt sadness and pity.
'Ping' the elevator doors open.
I pried my self out of Shawn's embrace and exited the elevator. He followed as well.
"Sorry." Shawn said. I look at his face and I can see the sadness gleaming in his dark blue eyes.
"I'm sorry Shawn but I can't force myself to remember you." I said apologetically.
"Please forget what happened." Shawn forced a smile. "I'm willing to be your friend so you can know me more. And maybe slowly you can remember me." I smiled at him and nodded.
I lead Shawn to the room. At the front of room 2014 I scanned the access card on the door knob.
'Click' the door opened. I pushed it slowly.
"Julia?" I said softly. Then I heard the erotic sounds that I also heard from the app just a while ago.
"Ahh...ummm"
"Hmmm...aaaah"
I instinctively switch on the lights. I entered first and Shawn was just behind me. Then there on the bed we saw two people intimately intertwined with each other, naked.
"Julia!" I said with a shocked voice.
The two people stopped what they were doing when they heard me shout. The man turned our way and I saw it was Brad. He was on top of Julia.
"Brad?" Shawn said confused.
"Oh my gosh." I turned around and buried my face in Shawn's chest acting shyly. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to... um I mean." I stuttered my sentence on purpose.
"Sorry we didin't mean to get in the way." Shawn finished my sentence.
"Jill?! Shawn?!" Brad was shocked looking at us. "Then who..?" he looked at the woman underneath him. Then he saw that it was Julia.
