"You did give her a glass of champagne. I can testify to that." I heard a familiar voice. Then when I looked at the door there he was standing proudly, Shawn.
He entered the door and walked towards us.
"Last night it was Julia that invited Queenie to the reunion. Queenie doesn't have any idea that there was a reunion in the first place." Shawn explained. "And that night Queenie said she can't drink any alcoholic drinks. But Julia gave her a glass of champagne and insisted on Queenie to drink."
"W-well maybe I gave her a glass, so what?" Julia was stuttering.
"That just explains she can't have drugged your drink." Shawn said. "And I was with her all night. So I can assure you that Queenie is innocent. And thinking of it I saw Julia speaking to Brad at the reunion. Maybe they are really in a relationship."
"No we're not!" Julia yelled. "Shawn why are you taking her side?" She gives a hurt look.
"I'm just stating the facts." Shawn said coldly.
"You're lying as well. Why are all of you ganging up on my daughter?!" Victoria yelled.
"Stop this right now!" Father's voice was so loud that it echoed. He pressed his temples. "Brad's father has called this morning. He was so ashamed of what his son had done the 2nd time around. Because of this we have both come to a decision."
All was silent for a while. A tense atmosphere enveloped the room.
"Julia you will be marrying Brad by the end of the year." Father said firmly.
Julia wore a shocked expression. "NO!" She shouted with all her lungs. "I'm not marrying anyone but Shawn."
Julia was now being histerical. She was throwing any object that she touches.
"SILENCE!!" father shouted his lungs out. "You are not in the position to say no in this matter. The news has been read by thousands of people in N city. And for sure around the world as well. Do you want to bring disgrace to yourself and not to mention to the Williams name as well as me?"
Julia slumped to the floor in defeat. Victoria was comforting her.
"Honey you can't force her to marry." Victoria said.
"My decision is final. You don't have a say on this. Do you want your daugther to be looked at as a low kind of girl?" Father said.
Father dialed his phone. "James. Tell the IT department to try to get the sex video out of the internet. And also tell the PR team to announce the news on Julia and Brad's marriage." Father said on the phone. "And pick up Julia here. Take her to the villa out of the city. Bring at least 10 body guards to watch over her." Then he hang up and stand up.
"Honey don't do this to our daughter. Please." Victoria was on her knees pleading.
"It was you who raised your daughter this way." Father gives Victoria a disapproving look.
"Father let Troy help you to your bedroom. You need to rest." I said.
"Thank you." father said. Troy helped father up.
"I'll be talking to Shawn for a while, okay?" I asked Troy.
Troy nodded. "I'll wait for you." He gave me a smile then helped my father up the stairs.
I look at Shawn. He was looking at me with those dark blue eyes. I can see his affection towards me didn't fade away after what happened last night.
