At one table we saw my old friends seating. Teena, Gerald, and Shawn. Troy and I walked towards them.
"Good eveing. Thank you for coming." I smiled with genuine happiness.
Teena stood up. "Oh Jill congratulations." She hugged me.

"Congratulations Troy." Gerald also stood up and shook Troy's hand.

Shawn stood as well. He was looking at me, still with affection.
"Congratulations Jill. You look so beautiful." Shawn said to me.
"Thank you Shawn." I look at him and smiled. I gave him a hug. "I'm so happy you're here. You know how much this means to me."

"Ahem." I hear Troy cough. I ended the hug and smiled at Troy.
"Congratulations Troy." Shawn said extending his hand.
Troy took it and shake it. "Thank you."

"We need to greet the other guests." Troy said to me. He was using my own words as a distraction now.
"The two of you grew close." I said to Troy when we were at a distance.

"And what is that?" I asked curiously.
"We love the same girl." He answered with affection.
My heart skipped a beat. I know that Troy loves me. But I can't stop the feeling about Angeline.
