Elea get down on one knee and grab a handful of dirt, he then rubbed it before smelling it. "We're on the right track, these are tiger tracks and seems like it's only 5-6 hours old."
After he said that, Lucas turned to Stephanie with a somewhat triumphant look which she responded by giving him a quick jab on the abdomen.
"Quit fooling around you two, let's hurry up and get this tiger so we can go back."
"Hey don't you guys think something feels off?" As we walked forward, Luna questioned. Now that she mentioned it, it is a little too quiet. Usually there would be sounds from the many kind of wild life around but today there is none.
I then check my map for any life form and to my surprise, a big red dot is closely stalking us. I quickly spun around, surprising the others, then launch a wind cutter towards the direction of the red dot.
Although my magic is not powerful nor big in size and definitely a bit unstable, it is good enough for the job as the supposed wobbly wind cutter nearing the target it suddenly erupted in a small explosion, of wind of course, and drive the owner of the dot out of hiding and let out a furious roar.
The creature had two big sharp fangs extruding from its mouth, orange with black stripes fur and four big muscular legs, it has the size of at least 3.4 meters in length 1.2 meters width and at least half as tall as a full grown man which is basically taller than everyone in the party, even Lucas who is the tallest among us.
"It's the target, everyone prepare for combat! Vayne good work on spotting it" Elea took change before complimenting me but I couldn't care less about that as I tried to draw my sword in panic because something even more surprising is happening in his head.

4. Big bad kitty!
You're group has been ambushed by a low class boss monster! Coincidentally it is also the tiger you are looking for
"ooooh you'll pay for making my delicate heart jumped!" said a young female warrior before meeting her end.
Teach the bad kitty a lesson!

"This is the first time I have a quest with special condition but isn't it asking too much? We're just a bunch of kids facing something that's thrice our size, how are we supposed to fight it! The logical solution would be to run especially because I can't even scan it's rough status estimation." Lucas: "alright, now I can finally have a Worthy opponent! And more importantly I can vent off some of my frustrations on you!"
Elea: "seems like it is an earth attributed sabertooth tiger, if we could get through it's earth wall skill then this fight is settled"
Luna: "the big kitty seems interested in Vayne? Unacceptable!."
Stephanie: "this creature seems a cut above the rest so far, taking it out won't be easy but doable. Now how should I scold these extra eager buffoons."
The tiger seemingly to sense the thoughts of the four belittling it, it let out another roar before pouncing forward. Following the usual strategy Vayne and co start their first boss fight.
