Leaving the village of Rockwell, the group had a run-in with the group of rat crimera, even with them numbering close to a hundred the group took care of it easily and without casualties.

As the group collects the monster cores and whatever materials they could from the crimeras they also confirmed that these are the group Holand party spotted. Remembering the direction they took to purge this group, Lucas's party are fully convinced the guy is an incompetent idiot with no sense of direction.

They then continued their journey to their second destination, a riverside village called Fishmoar. The journey took them close to a week and a half of walking, arguing, and occasional hunt for provision.

The village split into two as the river runs through the center of the village, the buildings made of simple wood walls and straw roofing, and the roads are made out of flattened gravel.

The people could be seen working on the farmlands near the river, tilting land and planting seeds for the season.

"Alright folks, we have arrived at Fishmoar. Now tell us what are our task here Luna." Lucas said, swiping his hand at the village behind him.

Luna took out an envelope from her ring and hand it to him. The brown envelope only has general information on it, it was a name and gender.

"She did not tell you who the person once again does she," Elea said with a straight face over Lucas's shoulder.

Seeing her nodding her hear, Elea sigh before walking away.

"Where are you going Elea?" Stephanie asked.

"It would be faster if we split up and look for her, later." He replied with a wave without looking back.

"I agree with him, let's split up and look for the woman. Oh, Luna could you look for the inn and wait for us there? It'll be easier for us if we know where you are." Lucas said before walking to another direction, leaving Luna and Stephanie alone.

"Well let us girls stick together, those dumb boys could fall and drown in the river for all I care," Stephanie said with a sour face. honestly, it's understandable, after all, the boys make a decision without talking it out first.

Finding the inn wasn't difficult, it was literally beside them. After booking two rooms Luna and Stephanie sat down and wait for the boys down at the first-floor tavern.

As it was still early, there were not many people there. Although there are two other people within the tavern, it was just the innkeeper and some woman out cold at the long bar table.

Even with the random disturbing ramble, the woman had in her sleep, the innkeeper did not even spare a glance at her.

Around midday, a man entered the tavern and walk up to the bar and ordered a drink. After taking his first sip, he asked the innkeeper about someone named Michelle… hm?

Quickly taking out the envelope, Luna confirmed that the person he was looking for has the same name as who her party is looking for, but it can't be such a coincidence, right?

Storing the envelope back, she almost fell off her chair when she looks back up. The man has somehow, without being picked up by her senses, reach and stood close to her.

Glancing to the side she could see Stephanie has fallen asleep with her eyes open, something she does from time to time but Luna wish she is not at the moment.

"Young miss, have you seen a woman hanging around here this morning?" the man asked with a kind smile.

"I did saw a woman but isn't she.." Luna was about to point the man to the woman at the bar but she is no longer there.

The man followed where she is staring at and his smile grows wider, almost creepily so.

"Thank you for your help young miss, I think I know where she is now, excuses me." The man then walked out of the tavern and the innkeeper visibly relaxed once he did.

"Little girl, trust me up on this if you can help it stay away from that man." He said from behind the bar.

Luna usually are not one to listen to a stranger's suggestions but she has to agree on this one, the man gave her a very unsettling vibe.

After that, nothing much happened until Lucas and Elea arrived in the evening. It seems they couldn't find the woman but they did find some information about her, it wasn't anything good though.

It seems like the woman they are looking for is a necromancer, a magic branch researching about the power of death and souls, this branch is heavily despised off by other branches of magic especially those from light branches and the church of light.

The other branches despised it, it was because the power of dark branches of magic is too powerful that they could easily upset the power balance on the continent as well as that said power are highly unstable and could easily corrupt one's mind.

As for the church, it is simply the contradictory nature of their power and research.

That, however, is not why she call it bad news. It is because the woman is a wanted criminal sentenced to death and her current hideout is within a cave 3 days away from the village, halfway towards their next destination.

The cave she hid in is called the cave of souls, not because there are ghosts or anything like that but because when the wind blew past, the cave would let out an eerie inhuman wail.

The party discussed what to bring and expect on their journey tomorrow as well as how they should handle it should they fight with Michelle, they couldn't come to a decision as Lucas was stubborn on just subduing her while Luna insisted on trying to talk to her.

The discussion escalated into a verbal fight between the two until Elea and Stephanie interject and separate the two. With a sour mood, the party left for their room call it a day.
