"Morning Mr. Carter, I'm here for the entrance exam." Putting all the required paperwork on the table, the man nod to acknowledge Vayne's presence.
Vayne proceed to fill the documents with his personal data before returning it, he then receive a wooden token with the number 88 before being directed towards the side corridor.
Within the corridor there are signs placed at each room with the number 1-40, 41-80, 81-120 and so on.
Entering his assigned room, he took a seat at the corner next to a guy with a thick glasses. The guy was busy reading a book so he decide not to bother him. Soon the room are filled with the other participants.
The participants then were given a written exam and a time limit of one turn of an hourglass. The exam was simple, a couple of questions about names of herbs and their use as well as some process needed to make some potions.
After making them many times, Vayne are already familiar with them and have no need to cheat with the system encyclopedia. He was the first to turn in his papers and directed to a waiting room at the end of the corridor.
There was already three other people in the room, one is a pretty human girl with patched up clothes while the others are two fat human boys with nice clothes whom are currently cornering and saying vulgar things to the girl with a face could only be described as disgusting.
Vayne was about to take a seat and ignore everything when the girl caught sight of him and stare with pleading eyes.

They were then taken in a line to another room, as they march he caught sight of the girl walking at the front but decide to ignore it.
The next exam was practical exam. They are told to make a single batch of healing potion and present it to the observer at the front. The materials are provided on each working desks but additional materials for personal recipes are to be prepared at the latest 10 minutes before the exam starts. The exam will start in another 30 minutes.
Taking out his materials from his backpack, Vayne take a single glance to the desk two rows ahead and one column to his left. The girl took out some materials out of her small side bag, her face looks focused with no trace of whatever just happened.
The exam proceed without a hitch and soon the hundred kids in the room dismissed as the exam was over and told to return in two days to see the results.
The hundred turn into thousands as everyone left through the hall and Vayne lost sight of the girl in the sea of people. But of course, he still track her through his map.
He left the crowd and enter an alleyway before jumping along crates, windowsills, and walls till he reaches the roofs.
