The questions spun in my head..

The questions I always avoid, the questions I don't want to think about, the questions I have no answers to..
Normally I would busy myself to distract me.. but now in this endless white world.. I could run from them no more..
"Are you finally giving up?" asked a now too familiar voice.
"Not yet, I'm just thinking for a bit." jumping up from where I laid down, I took a few steps before pausing and look behind me.
"Aren't you coming?" I asked her, the black figure that now the height of a young teen. She still had no defining feathers but "she" felt appropriate to address her.
She shook her head, still sitting with her legs at her side, saying, "I think I'll stay this time, who knows maybe you won't walk in circles then."
I nod to her word then continue walking. her words made sense, last time we've walked for miles but there is no end to be seen so we assumed we walk in circles since everything looks the same and we don't even left footsteps on the flat white ground. Hell, we can't even damage it.
A few moment were all I needed to realize it was a mistake, walking alone enchants the thoughts at the back of my mind. Screaming and clawing harder to surface, to get my attention and be heard.
My pace quicken as I try to focus on the walk, then I broke into a jog, run, then I end up sprinting.
I run and run and run.. scenes of what I've experienced flashes in my head but I keep pushing them away, concentrating on the never ending white ahead.
Flo, Soy, and Bean.. their death.. Sven's words.. my first death and the others I've had in the dungeon.. the thrashing in the academy.
Weak
The word surface despite my effort, it surface and turn into a thought, one I can't extinguish.
Their death are because I'm weak, all that happened to me is because I'm weak.

That's right, after gaining points and beating the dungeon beasts left and right I got conceited. even after failing to kill that guy in one go, I still thought I can defeat anyone as long as I am careful with my moves.
If I wasn't conceited and chose to retreat with the others, they wouldn't have died.
Useless
The words from my past life echoed. The man may be an abusive drunkard but he have a point, if I can't do something as simple as making the best choice, the Choice that could save those around me, then I am useless. I am worthless.

"It's alright, everyone makes mistakes, you just have to learn from it." she said softly. her words full of patience and affection, almost like that of a mother's. I wanted to refute her but she lifted my face to meet her own.
"Look at me." her words, soft yet at the same time it carries a certain weight. prompting my averted gaze to see her.
She no longer look like a black figure. Instead, she look like a young teen with long flowing black hair. There was no disgust or prejudice in her expression, nor is there any mockery nor sarcasm.
"Do not say that your mistake is unforgivable, everyone deserves a second chance. even if what you did was destroying a world you will still deserve a second chance." her black starry eyes clear, sincere just like her words. Her smile felt like a warm gentle kiss on my cold bleeding heart.
Kissing my forehead, she pressed her own against mine, whispering quietly. "Give yourself that chance, don't deny it. don't stop moving forward and be blinded by the past."
"Now rest, you must be tired after all these time." my eyes felt heavy after her words, fatigue from all my attempts and the run finally hits me.
"Rest and when you are finally awake, we can bring chaos and death once more."

"Are you sure it's fine for us to skip like this Luna? It could be important." Stephanie, who follow her closely, asked with concern.
"It's fine, I snuck a peek at her study materials last night. everything she plan to teach till next year is already covered by the academy, I think she's underestimating us due to our age." Luna answer with a sneer, not wanting to continue the subject she asked. "So have you heard anything from your boyfriend?"
"He's not my boyfriend!" ignoring the "yet" her friend added, she answer "Yes, I've heard from him. Things are a bit bad but it seems they pulled through. He also asked us to tell your parents to prepare for an upcoming disaster, it seems the news of what happened in Welsburg territories was caused by a single entity."
"Alright, I'll see what I can do. but for now, let's just enjoy our day in the city!"
The two continue jumping over the trees within the inner orchards until they reach the low wall separating it and the guards barracks.
The two jump over the wall with practiced ease and was greeted by a grinning squadron of men.
"It's getting hectic out there, ya almost get caught again?" the captain ask, handing them both a cloak and some commoner clothes.
"Yeah it was tough getting to the orchards while avoiding the servants. they might be slow but they sure have numbers." Luna complained as the female members of the guards lift clothes and raise earth walls around them to let them change.
"Hahaha well they sure do, sorry if my wife give ya such a hard time she's just worries something might happen to you two out there." the captain said with a laugh, then turn towards the rest of the guards. "Ya guys spread around the area and pretend to look for the them, if anyone ask just say you haven't found them. same procedure as usual."
Once they are done and the walls removed, Stephanie look accusingly at the captain and said, "Funny how you are captain of the princess personal guards yet you don't follow the common regulations."
"Well just like you kid we like good food and so far none come close to the cooking of the little miss here." the captain answer with a grin then turn to the now disguised female guards. "Keep them safe alright and as always no matter what it is, if it is something you guys deem you can't handle launch the flare and we'll come running."
The guards nod to their captain words before leaving ahead to their assigned checkpoints around the city, while two stay with the princess and her friend.
"We'll be going then Harry, keep the servants off our backs alright?" Smiling widely, Luna handed the cheap storage rings the captain lend her.
"Thanks for your patronage, the squad will have a feast this week. Now get out there and have fun kids, but remember to return before dusk." with that said, Harry left to find his squad to join them in their "search".
"Alright, shall we go then?" Luna ask the group with a wide grin.

Leaving the palace was easy with the path towards and the front gate being covered by their people. Once they reach city market area they started a shopping spree for delicacies, spices, and books.
By noon the two enter the theater and watch a live play, the actors played a story of how the world was created.
The actors played as three gods of Genesis namely Molokai the god of death, void, and destruction, Kielbasa the goddess of life, creation, chaos and order, Elona the goddess of knowledge, love, and truth.
At first there was nothing but an endless darkness. feeling that it was rather boring, Kielbasa suggested to the other two that they should create something to fill their boredom.
Molokai was amused by the idea while Elona thought it was her time to show off.
With the three combining their power and knowledge the endless space, the river of time, and absolute fate was created.
Although they made these wonderful aspects, it still bore them how stale and empty they are. As the three gods are discussing what to do, fate step up and gave them a suggestion.
"My dearest creators, with the limit of space, the expectancy of time, and a bit of drama from me, why not create a garden where mortal being could exist to amuse you?"
The three found the idea intriguing, so they agreed to it and soon the Eternal garden was created.
Within it plants and animals were made to "play" actions they are programmed to do. Plants grows, blooming beautiful flowers or bear tasty fruits while animals hunt one another or consume the plants to live until their expected time to come and become food for the plants.
But as the garden grows, it becomes too much for Molokai and Kielbasa to keep up with the information they bring, so they created a being to do it for them. The Eternal record.
Elona was furious that the two created a being that could rival one of her domain, but she would always respond in kind whenever the two ask if she is fine with it. Her truth, tainted by her jealousy, created deceit.
As time passes, space grows, and date dances to a play it creates themselves. The three gods become bored once more.
The animals and plants are something but they always do the same thing. Eat, sleep, eat, breed, sleep, eat, then sleep again.
They wanted more, something that could always keep them amused, something exciting, something.. unexpected.
Thus, they created a pair of beings much like them, beings with consciousness, beings that could create what they want, beings that could live not as puppets but the puppeteer. Thus born the first of the races.
The Genesis gods are happy, for millennials the races grown, create, bicker and fight or just plain killing each other in their name or some other being.
They decided to join the fun and created their own avatar where they send their consciousness and experience the world as mortals.
Each time they come, lives, bring miracles then finally dies of age. The cycle repeats until one day, Kielbasa and Molokai met an unusual pair, the pair was that of two race royalty.
Do note that at the time their race was at ear against one another, yet these two. These two are secretly lovers and does not want the war!
Kielbasa and Molokai would understand if the same being procreate, that's how they program them to be, but they could not understand how can creature of different being brave the dangers if the world just to meet each other.
They query Elona of it and their answer was love, to the pair their love are their priority, to them they are each other's world.
Kielbasa and Molokai found it to be extremely intriguing and decided to watch and help the couple together.
Time passes as they continue to watch the pair while at the same time, they too, grow fond of one another.
Elona, as the goddess who held love, could feel the power of it grows within the other two.
She felt threatened by their actions and was fearful of them replacing her.
The creation none of them knew then come and whisper to Elona.
"It is alright my dear they cannot replace you, you are far too important to all that you have created. On the other hand they are inconsequential, that is why they want your throne.
Before they can take your rightful place, why not take theirs?"
Elona, persuaded by deceit, plotted against Kielbasa and Molokai.
First, she calls her sister to the garden, where they will leave their main body to mingle with the mortals. Once she left for the garden, Elona never goes after her, instead she went to Elona main body and shatter her core self into pieces.
Kielbasa who's consciousness and soul was in her avatar avoided death by luck, but her power are forever lost.
Molokai who knows of what Elona did became enraged, but before anything he ensure the safety of his beloved.
While he cannot bring her power back in a short time, he could prevent his beloved from ceasing to exist. Thus created the aspect of reincarnation.
While he is weak from exerting his domain, Elona strikes. She sealed Molokai inside his most obscure domain, the void.
Knowing he could not escape his fate, Molokai split a part of himself and combined it with the pieces of Kielbasa's power he obtain, creating the first of the runes, the rune of Genesis. Much to Elona displeasure.
Elona was coaxed by deceit to destroy the runes, but although she "killed" her twin sister Kielbasa, she still loves her. Her own power became her own weakness. She let the rune be even as it created runes of all aspects and even her domain.
It is unclear whether it was out of guilt of just for personal thrill, but Elona crystalize Kielbasa's scattered power into the garden, creating the marks.
The play was still on going but the sun was about to set. Begrudgingly the group had to leave and return to the palace.
"That was fun, let's come again some other time. I'm sure they have more interesting plays." Luna suggested, Stephanie on the other hand already used to her friend quirks and decided she can't do anything.
She could only agree and hope that her carefree nature will remain once she reach adulthood.

Her smile felt like a warm gentle kiss on my cold bleeding heart.Kissing my forehead, she pressed her own against mine, whispering quietly. It could be important." Stephanie, who follow her closely, asked with concern."It's fine, I snuck a peek at her study materials last night. everything she plan to teach till next year is already covered by the academy, I think she's underestimating us due to our age." Luna answer with a sneer, not wanting to continue the subject she asked. "So have you heard anything from your boyfriend?""He's not my boyfriend!" ignoring the "yet" her friend added, she answer "Yes, I've heard from him. Things are a bit bad but it seems they pulled through. Luna complained as the female members of the guards lift clothes and raise earth walls around them to let them change."Hahaha well they sure do, sorry if my wife give ya such a hard time she's just worries something might happen to you two out there." the captain said with a laugh, then turn towards the rest of the guards. "Ya guys spread around the area and pretend to look for the them, if anyone ask just say you haven't found them. same procedure as usual."Once they are done and the walls removed, Stephanie look accusingly at the captain and said, "Funny how you are captain of the princess personal guards yet you don't follow the common regulations.""Well just like you kid we like good food and so far none come close to the cooking of the little miss here." the captain answer with a grin then turn to the now disguised female guards. "Keep them safe alright and as always no matter what it is, if it is something you guys deem you can't handle launch the flare and we'll come running."The guards nod to their captain words before leaving ahead to their assigned checkpoints around the city, while two stay with the princess and her friend."We'll be going then Harry, keep the servants off our backs alright?" Once they reach city market area they started a shopping spree for delicacies, spices, and books.By noon the two enter the theater and watch a live play, the actors played a story of how the world was created.The actors played as three gods of Genesis namely Molokai the god of death, void, and destruction, Kielbasa the goddess of life, creation, chaos and order, Elona the goddess of knowledge, love, and truth.At first there was nothing but an endless darkness. feeling that it was rather boring, Kielbasa suggested to the other two that they should create something to fill their boredom.Molokai was amused by the idea while Elona thought it was her time to show off.With the three combining their power and knowledge the endless space, the river of time, and absolute fate was created.Although they made these wonderful aspects, it still bore them how stale and empty they are. As the three gods are discussing what to do, fate step up and gave them a suggestion."My dearest creators, with the limit of space, the expectancy of time, and a bit of drama from me, why not create a garden where mortal being could exist to amuse you?"The three found the idea intriguing, so they agreed to it and soon the Eternal garden was created.Within it plants and animals were made to "play" actions they are programmed to do. Plants grows, blooming beautiful flowers or bear tasty fruits while animals hunt one another or consume the plants to live until their expected time to come and become food for the plants.But as the garden grows, it becomes too much for Molokai and Kielbasa to keep up with the information they bring, so they created a being to do it for them. The Eternal record.Elona was furious that the two created a being that could rival one of her domain, but she would always respond in kind whenever the two ask if she is fine with it. Her truth, tainted by her jealousy, created deceit.As time passes, space grows, and date dances to a play it creates themselves. The three gods become bored once more.The animals and plants are something but they always do the same thing. Eat, sleep, eat, breed, sleep, eat, then sleep again.They wanted more, something that could always keep them amused, something exciting, something.. unexpected.Thus, they created a pair of beings much like them, beings with consciousness, beings that could create what they want, beings that could live not as puppets but the puppeteer. Thus born the first of the races.The Genesis gods are happy, for millennials the races grown, create, bicker and fight or just plain killing each other in their name or some other being.They decided to join the fun and created their own avatar where they send their consciousness and experience the world as mortals.Each time they come, lives, bring miracles then finally dies of age. The cycle repeats until one day, Kielbasa and Molokai met an unusual pair, the pair was that of two race royalty.Do note that at the time their race was at ear against one another, yet these two. These two are secretly lovers and does not want the war!Kielbasa and Molokai would understand if the same being procreate, that's how they program them to be, but they could not understand how can creature of different being brave the dangers if the world just to meet each other.They query Elona of it and their answer was love, to the pair their love are their priority, to them they are each other's world.Kielbasa and Molokai found it to be extremely intriguing and decided to watch and help the couple together.Time passes as they continue to watch the pair while at the same time, they too, grow fond of one another.Elona, as the goddess who held love, could feel the power of it grows within the other two.She felt threatened by their actions and was fearful of them replacing her.The creation none of them knew then come and whisper to Elona."It is alright my dear they cannot replace you, you are far too important to all that you have created. On the other hand they are inconsequential, that is why they want your throne.Before they can take your rightful place, why not take theirs?"Elona, persuaded by deceit, plotted against Kielbasa and Molokai.First, she calls her sister to the garden, where they will leave their main body to mingle with the mortals. Once she left for the garden, Elona never goes after her, instead she went to Elona main body and shatter her core self into pieces.Kielbasa who's consciousness and soul was in her avatar avoided death by luck, but her power are forever lost.Molokai who knows of what Elona did became enraged, but before anything he ensure the safety of his beloved.While he cannot bring her power back in a short time, he could prevent his beloved from ceasing to exist. Thus created the aspect of reincarnation.While he is weak from exerting his domain, Elona strikes. She sealed Molokai inside his most obscure domain, the void.Knowing he could not escape his fate, Molokai split a part of himself and combined it with the pieces of Kielbasa's power he obtain, creating the first of the runes, the rune of Genesis. Much to Elona displeasure.Elona was coaxed by deceit to destroy the runes, but although she "killed" her twin sister Kielbasa, she still loves her. Her own power became her own weakness. She let the rune be even as it created runes of all aspects and even her domain.It is unclear whether it was out of guilt of just for personal thrill, but Elona crystalize Kielbasa's scattered power into the garden, creating the marks.The play was still on going but the sun was about to set. Begrudgingly the group had to leave and return to the palace."That was fun, let's come again some other time. I'm sure they have more interesting plays." Luna suggested, Stephanie on the other hand already used to her friend quirks and decided she can't do anything.She could only agree and hope that her carefree nature will remain once she reach adulthood.
