Waking up, Amon yawned and did a few stretching moves. His back popped and after that, he went to make himself breakfast in the kitchen.
While eating his breakfast, Amon was also planning how to spend this sunny day. There were four days remaining until his duel and he felt quite confident.
I will see what this [Dance of Gan Jiang] really is. Decided Amon as he took a big knife from the kitchen.
[Dance of Gan Jiang] was a sword dance with the left hand holding the sword while the actions of the right one were unknown to Amon, he couldn't perceive them, but they certainly weren't moving just for prettiness.
As for who Gan Jiang and Mo Ye were, Amon did not know much but he knew that they had to do something with swords.
He wasn't talented with swords but trying wouldn't do him bad. Whether he would benefit was unknown for now, but what was known was that if it does not bring him any benefits, he would sell it.
Closing the door behind himself Amon walked in his big yard with his left hand holding the prototype page while the right one the big knife.
Putting the page on a place where it would be rained upon by the sunshine, Amon backed a few steps away and waited for the moving drawing to show itself.
The drawing soon showed itself and the man started performing his dance. Amon for now just tried to learn those dance moves.
He managed to learn the whole dance in three hours. The dance itself took three minutes to be executed, so it was considered a good speed when it came to learning.
Next, he prepared himself to execute the whole dance by using the energy circulation the man was using in the picture.
Time passed unknowingly to Amon as he was lost in the dance. He had fallen in a trance, lost the feeling of time and tiredness.
Rather than losing the feeling of tiredness, he felt as if he had energy as if he wasn't doing anything.
The three minutes sword dance seemed to have some kind of effect on his body as he was all sweaty and the red robes were sticking on his body.
Popping sounds would be heard from his body as he would bend sometimes. The dance moves became swifter and more natural with each time he repeated the dance.
Soon the dance he was performing looked natural as if it was what he has been doing his whole life. There was wind which was caused by his movements but this wind wasn't very strong.
Every step he took would cause the dust beneath his feet to move away.
A leaf was falling from above but it couldn't reach the ground. The winds from Amon's swift movements was this effective.
It was when this leaf brushed past his eyes that he woke up from his trans. His eyes regained light, no longer empty and purposeless.
How long have I been training for? Thought Amon as he looked at the sun. Dinner time was closing.
I'm so hungry... Amon poured water on his head and headed for dinner. Arriving at the tables he removed his upper robe.
"Hey, brother what have you been doing? Your muscles are still twitching!" Asked a male disciple with a shocked tone and look which attracted the attention of the disciples around him.
Looking at his body Amon finally understood what actually happened. He had increased his physical capabilities. Feeling faster, stronger, agile yet firm, without a trace of tiredness only hunger.
"Just a bit rough training for the body. Did I miss something?" Asked Amon as he crazily ate. His body's muscles were outlined right now, giving him this sick look which was also a bit attractive for the ladies which were starting at Amon with a bashful face.
"Hey aren't you the guy senior Thomas is about to trash in four days?"
Turning his head to see who was speaking like that, Amon saw that it was an arrogant looking disciple with a robust body and a bald head. Next to him were also a few of his friends who seemed to be hostile.
"Trash me? When I'm done with that boy Thomas, he will be looking trashed like you" said Amon as he continued to eat.
From the sides, the twin girls who first picked a fight with Amon were looking at what was happening.
This time they knew that it wouldn't be a good idea to mess with Amon even though this bald fella seemed to be his lackey. Judging by Amon's strength and cultivation people could easily reach the conclusion that it would be better to make friends with him rather than enemies.
Since they knew that it was probably too late to fix things, they decided to just observe for now. Coming between two prodigies wasn't something they really wanted.
"What? Can you repeat this again you little.."
"Oh..except being ugly you're also deaf...seems like I'd have to work a bit harder on Thomas to make him a retard like you." Replied Amon as he smirked towards that bald guy.
He knew that this was happening on purpose but he could also see the strength of this guy which is why he was confident. The table he was dining on was already empty as the people left when they saw the bald guy had come to pick a problem. It was now quite a scene going on.
The bald disciples couldn't take this insult as he applied energy to his hands and charged with his body and late initial stage cultivation.
Humphing Amon waited for this idiot to come closer. Just when the bald guy came close enough, Amon used his hands to support himself on the bench as he shot his legs towards the feet of his opponent.
Tripping on Amon's legs, the bald guy started falling with his head facing Amon while his arms looked for support. Amon had long ago stood up and dodged the hands of the bald idiot as he placed his own on his naked neck.
Next, with force, he pressed down and the guy's head crashed into the bench. Eventually, he blacked out.
"Pick your buddy and don't bother me again. What are you staring at me? Wanna fight?" Asked Amon as he looked at the afraid company of the defeated disciple.
Standing straight, Amon continued eating his meal under the stares of people.
