"Miss elf, may I know your name?" Ni Shiuri asked while looking at Li Wei but she didn't answer him immediately. She first took a spoonful of stew and placed it in her mouth; smiled and thought, "It's good."

Li Wei lowered her spoon into the bowl; looked at Ni Shiuri, "You asked for my name, yet you didn't tell me yours first. Aren't you rude?" she said; took the spoon out of the bowl and into her mouth, eating more of the stew.

Ni Shiuri bowed his head, "My apologies, my name is Ni Shiuri, I am the hero, who cleansed the world from the vile filth known as the demon lord."

"And my name is Bhazout Grayhelm, I am hero's closest friend, and what's your name beautiful elf?"

Li Wei ate another spoonful of stew, "My name is Li Wei."

Human and a dwarf both looked at each other with confused expressions on their faces; then they looked at Li Wei.

"Such a weak reaction?… But wait…Elves have surnames?!" Ni Shiuri said with a confused expression on his face and the dwarf nodded his head wearing the same confused expression.

Li Wei furrowed her eyebrows, "Sorry but can you two let me eat first, I will talk with you after I am done with this delicious stew." She put another spoonful of stew into her mouth.

"Thank you for the praise," Bhazout Grayhelm said with a wide smile.

Li Wei nodded, "You are a really good cook," she said and put another spoonful into her mouth.

Bhazout Grayhelm smiled, "Thank you." He looked at the Ni Shiuri, "Let's all eat first and talk later."

Ni Shiuri nodded, "Alright."

Li Wei put the last spoonful of stew into her mouth; then put the spoon into the bowl and placed the bowl onto the ground beside her. Raising her eyes from the ground, she saw both the human and the dwarf looking at her, "What is it?"

"I didn't know elves had surnames, to my understanding all elves, only had first names, as all elves, no matter from where they come from, are of one family," Ni Shiuri said.

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Yeah, that was what Vartys said."

"If that will be all, I am going to sleep," Li Wei yawned into her hand.

"It is quite late and you must be tired but please answer one question, miss Elf—Li Wei, could you point us to the elf village, to the village where Vartys returned to?"

"Why do you think that I know where is the village, who this Vartys is or where she is from?" Li Wei said with a smile.

"I think you know her, after all, she is one of those that helped me slay the demon lord. She said that in this Eternity Forest there is only one elf village and she said that all elves that are inside this forest can only be from that village alone and from nowhere else," Ni Shiuri said.

"Please, Li Wei, she is our dear friend and a dear companion. We just want to invite her to a banquet that the king is throwing us for our great deed," Bhazout Grayhelm added.

Li Wei yawned once more, "I am sleepy, we will talk tomorrow, alright?"

Ni Shiuri, "Then that's a promise."

Li Wei stood up and looked at the bear who was already fast asleep, "Do you mind if I use your bear as a pillow?"

Bhazout Grayhelm shook his head, "I don't mind and I am sure that he won't either."

"So it's a male, but since its only an animal, it's fine," Li Wei thought and lied down, placing her head on the bear's warm body and closing her eyes; quickly falling asleep.

"She's already asleep?" Bhazout Grayhelm said surprised.

Ni Shiuri smiled, "She sure is carefree, I would like to see more people like her. She showed no reaction when we told her of our status. She even showed no reaction when we mention Vartys. I thought that all elves would hold Vartys in high regard as she defeated the demon lord with me – the hero, but this Li Wei even asked us as to why would she know her. I want to see more people like her, those that would show no reaction when they heard of demon lord or a hero. I want the world where concepts such as the 'hero'; 'demon lord' and 'monsters' don't exist."

Bhazout Grayhelm patted Ni Shiuri's shoulder, "Just like you said, in a single year there will be no monsters and the world you seek will come. The world where demon lord doesn't exist and the world where the hero is not needed; the world where there is no such thing as an adventurer."

Ni Shiuri nodded, "Mhm!"

Li Wei's eyelids quivered and her eyes opened, she sat up, on the ground and rubbed her eyes; as she was rubbing her eyes, a growl sounded behind her. She turned her head back and saw the bear looking at her angrily. "Good morning, bear."

The bear growled again but louder and a voice entered Li Wei's ears, "You are up?"

Li Wei turned in the direction of the voice and saw Bhazout Grayhelm approaching her. She stood up from the ground and yawned while covering her mouth with her right hand, "Good morning, Bhazout Grayhelm."

"Good morning, Li Wei, but that sounds too stiff, you can call me just Grayhelm and I will call you Wei. How about it?"

Li Wei shrugged her shoulders, "Call me as you like," she said and thought, "Next time you see me you will probably call me demon lord."

"So what's for breakfast?" Li Wei said.

Bhazout Grayhelm laughed, "Sorry but there is nothing. We will go to the elf village to see our companion and we were planning to eat there."

Li Wei nodded, "I see." She looked around, "Where is Ni Shiuri?"

"He went to take a piss."

"I see. You wanted the location of the elf village right?"

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Yes, please tell us. Better yet can you guide us?"

Li Wei shook her head, "I won't give you but I can tell you but before I do that. Tell me from what direction did you come from?"

"Why do you want to know that?"

"If you won't tell me, I won't tell you what you want to know." Li Wei calmly said.

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Alright, we came from that direction," the dwarf pointed in the south-east.

Li Wei nodded and pointed her finger in the direction furthest away from elf village, "The elf village, is that way."

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Thank you for telling me."

Li Wei turned around and walked in the direction, she pointed in and once she was where she couldn't be seen by the dwarf, she changed directions and walked in the south-east and thought, "Rule 1 of any fantasy setting, never reveal the locations of elf villages or it will lead to trouble for the elves. No one must ever know where the elf villages are. You see it quite often in fiction, random elf joins a hero's part, random elf leads the hero to the village. Hero blabs about the village to his friends. Friends visit the elf village; they blab to their friends and the next thing you know… I don't even want to think about it. I am the demon lord and if anyone is going to do immoral things, it's going to be me and not other humans or dwarves or whatever."
