Shortly after Li Wei disappeared from Bhazout Grayhelm's sight, Ni Shiuri came out from the bushes, making them rustle. Bhazout Grayhelm turned in the direction of the sound; seeing the hero, he smiled and walked up to him with Bergo following him closely behind while the hero did the same and walked up to the dwarf.

The two met mid-way, "Where is she?" Ni Shiuri asked.

"She left ahead of us," Bhazout Grayhelm explained and Bergo nodded his head in agreement.

"And the village? Did she tell you the location of it?"

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Yes," he pointed his finger confidently in the direction where Li Wei pointed and left in, "It's that way."

Ni Shiuri smiled, "I see. Let's pack up and go then."

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Yeah! I can't wait to see Vartys again."

Ni Shiuri smiled, "Yeah, me too."

The two quickly packed up all their stuff while Bergo sat on the ground watching them. Packing up, the three of them turned in the direction where Li Wei pointed them in, but just before they could leave the campsite, a sudden voice sounded behind them, "Shiuri? Grayhelm? Bergo?"

They turned around and saw their companion standing with her right hand on the tree in the opposite direction of where they were about to go.

"Vartys!" They both exclaimed and the bear growled happily. The three of them ran up to her.

"What are you all doing here?" she asked with excitement in her voice, looking over Ni Shiuri, Bhazout Grayhelm and Bergo.

"We came here for you!" Bhazout Grayhelm said smiling widely.

She giggled, "But it seems you were going to go in the wrong way."

"What?!" Bhazout Grayhelm and Ni Shiuri both exclaimed in shock.

Ni Shiuri turned his head to the Bhazout Grayhelm, "Li Wei told you that direction was the direction of the village?"

Vartys tilted her head, "Li Wei?! Isn't that the name…?" she thought.

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Yeah! She said that it was the direction of the village and she walked in that direction herself."

"Did this Li Wei had mid-length black hair and had violet eyes perhaps?" Vartys suddenly asked.

Bhazout Grayhelm and Ni Shiuri turned their eyes to Vartys and both nodded.

Vartys nodded, "I see. Did you treat her well?"

Bhazout Grayhelm nodded, "Yeah! We fed her some of my stew and she said that it was delicious then we chatted a little and she even used Bergo as a pillow." The bear growled in dissatisfaction.

Ni Shiuri frowned, "Wait a moment… Vartys do you know her?"

"Mhm, she is Riya that I told you about, my best and closest friend."

Bhazout Grayhelm and Ni Shiuri widened their eyes in shock and shouted out in unison, "She is Riya?!" Bergo growled in surprise as well.

Ni Shiuri frowned again but deeper, "This Riya is quite a liar. First, she didn't tell us her name, then she claimed she didn't know Vartys and finally she lied about the direction of the village and to push that lie even further, she walked that direction herself so that you wouldn't ask her any questions and would let her go Grayhelm." He turned his head to Bhazout Grayhelm, "Did she ask you anything before pointing you in that direction?"

Vartys frowned and shouted out before the dwarf could answer, "Stop! Stop! Stop! Don't badmouth Riya or I will get really angry! That's enough! So why did you came to find me anyway?"

Ni Shiuri sighed, "The king is holding a banquet for all of us who slew the demon lord. Will you come?"

"Are all ten of us coming?" Vartys asked.

Ni Shiuri nodded, "Yeah, everyone will be there, will you?"

Vartys nodded, "I will, but first I have to go to my village and tell them I will be leaving."

Bhazout Grayhelm smiled widely, "That's good and I can't wait to see your village, Vartys."

Vartys shook her head, "No, Riya didn't want you to go into our village so I will honour her wishes. You all will wait here." She turned around and disappeared into the forest.

Bergo sighed and walked up to the place where campfire used to burn and laid down, closing its eyes.

Bhazout Grayhelm sighed, "That's too bad. I really wanted to see an elf village."

Ni Shiuri patted his shoulder, "Let's join, Bergo by the campfire."

"Alright, brother."

Li Wei walked out of the forest; looked around and saw wide plains covered with medium length grass; tall trees growing every few yards apart and a road more than 40-yards away. "I should go find a city and join an adventurer's guild. It's better to be pointed to monsters rather than wander around aimlessly, I also need a map and more information about this world," she thought and walked towards the road.

Walking 20-yards, Li Wei stopped as in front of her, she saw a dark green slime basking in the sunlight.

<Slime, Level 1>

<HP: 50/50>

Li Wei's eyes narrowed, "A slime?..." she sighed and her thoughts continued, "It seems it is destined to be my first minion... Let's see, first I have to bring it to 25% of its health." She unsheathed her katana, took a step forward and slashed at the slime.

<-77, Slime Slain>

<+10 XP>

<Eclipse, Devourer Of Souls +1 Soul>

<Soul until next upgrade 1/10>

Li Wei smirked and looked down at the slime's dead body which was now just some green goo that was enveloped in a golden glow. "It seems you were not destined to become my first minion, a demon lord can't just have any minion in her army now can she?" she mumbled and then she thought, "That glow must mean that it dropped loot, but I really don't want to touch a slime," she narrowed her eyes; looked away from the green goo and walked towards the road.

Reaching the road, she looked in both directions; in one of them, she saw city walls far in the distance.

"Let's hope there is an adventurer's guild there," Li Wei thought and walked towards the city.
