Katana swiftly descended, slashing the youth across his chest from top-right to lower-left.

The blood spurted out from the wound and Pi Yun screamed out in pain, "Ahh!" The meat skewer he was holding in his hand fell to the grass with a muffled sound. His two companions turned to the scream but they only stared blankly as their brains couldn't process what just happened. Pi Yun staggered a few steps back and fell on his buttocks as he tripped over a rock.
Seeing the blood, Li Wei's furrowed her eyebrows as an old memory long forgotten resurfaced in her head.

A long time ago when Li Wei was a small girl of barely eight years old. On a day like all others. She went to school as per normal but when she returned, she noticed something strange. The door to her house was slightly opened. Seeing this, she tilted her head in confusion, "Why is it unlocked? Mommy always closes the door…" she thought; then pushed the door open, walked inside and a scream entered her ears, "Stop! I don't want this! Stop! Please! Stop!"
"Mommy?" Li Wei mumbled and ran to the source of the scream but arriving at the source, the living room. She saw something that no one should see, adult and child alike. She saw an unknown man raping her mother who screamed and pleaded the man to stop.
Li Wei's eyes teared up but she didn't scream, she jolted away from the living room and into the kitchen with tears rolling down her cheeks and one thought going through her head over and over again, "I have to same mommy! I have to save mommy! I have to save mommy!"
Arriving in the kitchen, Li Wei grabbed the first knife she saw and ran to the living room all while the same thought continued going through her head over and over again; tears continued rolling down her cheeks. Returning back to the living room, she locked her eyes onto the man and something snapped in her head. The tears stopped and no thoughts went through her head, it became completely blank and she slowly approached with the knife in her right hand.
Li Wei's mother saw her daughter standing behind the man and her eyes widened in shock. She wanted to shout and tell Li Wei to run but before she could, the little girl raised the knife into the air and stabbed with both of her hands at the man's neck. The man bellowed in pain, "Ahhh!!!" and the blood spurted out, covering the little girl with it. Ignoring the blood, she pushed the knife deeper and the man lifelessly collapsed on her mother with the knife sticking out of the back of his neck.
The cold expression left Li Wei's face and she smiled with blood all over her, "Mommy, are you okay?"
Li Wei's mother pushed the man from her and embraced the little girl while weeping and repeatedly calling out her daughter's name, "Wei'er! Wei'er! Wei'er! Wei'er!"
"I saved mommy," Li Wei giggled.
Li Wei's mother pulled away, looked at her and a concerned expression appeared on her face, "Are you okay?"
Li Wei nodded, "Mhm."
After this, Li Wei's mother called the police and they deemed it as self-defence and neither Li Wei or her mother were punished. Then Li Wei was taken to a mental hospital to and she was hypnotised so she would forget everything that happened. This was done as her mother wanted her to lead a normal life all without a memory of having killed anyone. The hypnotisation worked and she lived as nothing happened on that day.

"So I have killed someone before… and it was nothing special… it was the same as killing a slime but now that I have killed one, I have to kill them all," Li Wei thought, her expression returned to normal. She quickly rotated her bloody katana so it would be pointing downwards, took a few steps forward and with both of her hands stabbed down at Pi Yun.
As the blade descended the youth screamed, "Noooo!"

Li Wei turned her head to the middle-aged man and saw him running towards the carriage; she ran after him. He reached the carriage and attempted to open the door but Li Wei caught up and delivered a vertical slash.

Originally, I just wanted to pillage your food but then I realised that as a demon lord I will have to kill adventurers and so I killed your brother and as for you and that uncle, I couldn't just let you two live after witnessing me murdering someone. It would have been stupid of me." She looked at her body for a moment and then thought, "It seems not one of these three dropped any loot. Do only monsters drop loot?"
Li Wei walked to the carriage and stopped in front of the door, "That uncle ran to it, did he want to escape?" she thought and opened the carriage door. Looking inside, she saw a bow and a quiver of arrows. "So he came here for his weapon?" she thought and took the bow into her hands; a notification flashed and the bow disappeared from her hands.

"Hmm, its safe to assume that it went to my inventory," Li Wei thought; tapped on the quiver of arrows.

"That's all it seems," Li Wei thought and backed out of the carriage; then walked to the carriage's front and saw two horses. One black and another brown. "Hmm, I don't know how to ride a horse but it will probably be the same as with my katana," she thought and walked up to the two horses.

The cold expression left Li Wei's face and she smiled with blood all over her, "Mommy, are you okay?"
Li Wei's mother pushed the man from her and embraced the little girl while weeping and repeatedly calling out her daughter's name, "Wei'er! Wei'er! Wei'er! Wei'er!"
"I saved mommy," Li Wei giggled.
Li Wei's mother pulled away, looked at her and a concerned expression appeared on her face, "Are you okay?"
Li Wei nodded, "Mhm."
After this, Li Wei's mother called the police and they deemed it as self-defence and neither Li Wei or her mother were punished. Then Li Wei was taken to a mental hospital to and she was hypnotised so she would forget everything that happened. This was done as her mother wanted her to lead a normal life all without a memory of having killed anyone. The hypnotisation worked and she lived as nothing happened on that day.

Li Wei walked to the carriage and stopped in front of the door, "That uncle ran to it, did he want to escape?" she thought and opened the carriage door. Looking inside, she saw a bow and a quiver of arrows. "So he came here for his weapon?" she thought and took the bow into her hands; a notification flashed and the bow disappeared from her hands.
