Li Wei looked at the two horses and thought, "Which one to take," she moved her eyes to the horse fastened to the left side of the carriage, "The black one," she moved her eyes to the horse fastened on the right side of the carriage, "Or the brown one…" She then moved her eyes across the two horses several times more and nodded her head, making a decision.
She walked up to the brown horse, unfastened it from the carriage, removed all the ropes, removed the muzzle and a notification flashed.

"Useful," Li Wei thought and slapped the horse on its side, "You are free! Go!" she shouted, the horse let out a loud whine and ran into the grass, soon disappearing from her sight. "Now then," she mumbled and moved her eyes to the last remaining horse.
She walked up to it, unfastened it from the carriage and led it to the road while holding onto the rope which was tied to its muzzle with her left hand.
Leading it on the road, Li Wei touched the horse's back with her right hand and using it as a spring, she jumped on the horse's back in only one attempt. During this, the horse didn't move an inch; it only obediently stood in place not even letting out a sound.
<Skill acquired, Basic Riding, Allows the user to ride mounts at 75% of their speed>
A notification flashed and knowledge of how to ride a flashed through her head.
"The system gives me knowledge on how to ride a horse but it doesn't give me instructions how to wield a weapon…" Li Wei thought; then spurted the horse.
The black horse dashed towards the city; a wide smile appeared on Li Wei's face and she laughed, "The wind feels great!" she mumbled.

Li Wei's surroundings rapidly changed and as the evening came, she finally arrived and was now only 40-yards away from the city gates. Looking from this distance, she saw two guards and a stable. Two guards at each side of the gates and the stable to the right and 30-yards away, 10-yards closer than the gates.
"Hmm, I see a stable, that horse may be from that stable, I should get rid of it right here while I still have a chance," Li Wei thought; stopped the horse by pulling the reins, dismounted it, turned it towards the direction opposite of the city and removed the reigns; a notification flashed, informing her of a received item and she slapped the horse; it ran back in the direction they came from.
As the horse disappeared into the distance, Li Wei turned towards the city and walked towards it. Once she was 20-yards away, the two guards saw the elf and they stared at her with surprised expressions as she was the most beautiful elf they ever saw. Even Vartys of the hero's party that they saw a few times was not this elf's match even if Vartys had bigger breasts and butt.
Li Wei walked right past the stables as she had no business there and walked up to one of the two guards, "Excuse me," she said.
The guard only gulped down his saliva, he didn't think that the goddess elf would come and talk to him, he just assumed she would just pass him and go inside the city. The other guard seeing this, widened his eyes and he ran up to them.
Li Wei frowned, "Excuse me!"
The second guard who ran up to them said, "How can, I help you?"
Li Wei turned her head to him, "I want to ask a few questions."
"Please ask away,"
"Is there an adventurer guild inside the city and if there is then where? Also, where can I find the inn?"
"After entering the city, just go in a straight line and you will reach the adventurer's guild as for the inn, it's midway to the adventurer's guild to the right."
Li Wei smiled and nodded, "Thank you," she walked through the city gates and the two guards were left to themselves. The first guard that was frozen stiff looked into the sky and said, "I can die happy. A goddess talked to me."
The second guard smirked, "She may have talked to you but we had a conversation and she smiled at me. So I can die happier!"

Entering the city, Li Wei saw that the city was built in pre-romanesque architecture and she looked around with interest; as she was looking around, she felt people staring at her, but she didn't think twice about it. After all she was already accustomed to such treatment from her previous life, but unlike her previous life, no one hit on her.
"It's already evening, so I can go to adventurer's guild tomorrow, for now, I will just head to the inn," Li Wei thought after looking around and entered the inn that she found where the guard told her it would be.
Entering it, she got just as many stares but she ignored them and walked up to the counter at which stood an old woman, "I need a room for one night and some food."
The woman raised her eyebrows in surprise but then smiled, "Sure thing dear, it will be 4 copper coins, 1 for the room and 3 for the meal. Do you want me to create a tab for you?"
Li Wei shook her head, "No need," she opened the system and from her inventory, she retrieved 4 copper coins from her 50 silver and placed it on the table.
The old woman took the money and passed her the key, "Room 206, do you want to eat in your room, dear?"
Li Wei took the key and nodded, "Yes, please," she walked away from the counter and under everyone's stares ascended to the second floor, entered her room and locked the door. She sat down on the bed and closed her eyes. Several minutes passed and a knock on the door sounded.
Li Wei jumped off the bed, walked up to the door and unlocked it. Opening it, she saw a young girl of around ten years old, holding a wooden board on which laid two wooden bowls, a metal spoon, a metal fork and a metal knife.
