For David Lawrence, there was no Brotherhood of Steel, no Skull and Bones, and not even an especially strong force in the original Wasteland. During his journey to save the world, he encountered tons of challenges but they were all solved by his over-powered forces.

Zhou Qingfeng who was already in a hopeless situation became fearless and could not be bothered anymore. As for the hate coming from the other side of the wireless radio, Zhou Qingfeng replied coldly, “Leader Johnson, …..”
Zhou Qingfeng was immediately interrupted. “It’s Primary Assault Team Captain Johnson. You should learn some manners, yellow monkey.”
“Alright, Mr. Primary Assault Team Captain Johnson, I’m going to talk to you very politely now. If you don’t accept my conditions, I’ll join Skull and Bones to fight against you brainless, fair-skinned pigs. By that time, you’ll see my power.”

A weird laugh came from the radio, “Victor Hugo, are you threatening me?”
Zhou Qingfeng admitted, “Yes, I’m threatening you brainless, fair-skinned pigs. I know what’s going on because I’m at the frontline. You only have around a thousand people and more than a hundred of you have already been sacrificed in the past few hours in the fight.”
“As for Skull and Bones, you’ve killed at least three hundred of them but they have more than five thousand soldiers at the frontline. They have more tanks, more armored vehicles than you, and their backup is on the way here. I bet you guys weren’t any better in Brooklyn. Even though there were many outstanding soldiers in the Brotherhood of Steel, you and your men can’t pay the price.”
“Now, there’s a chance to break this deadlock. You could at least get them away from Manhattan, out of Bronx, and back to Queens. You’ll get a chance to reinforce your troops. It all depends on whether or not you’re willing to take the chance.”
There was a pause on the wireless radio once Zhou Qingfeng finished talking. Captain Johnson was not yielding but he could not dispute. All of a sudden, Captain Johnson asked, “Victor Hugo, are you really a Chinese?”
“I’m not just a Chinese, I’m a people of the Republic of China!” Zhou Qingfeng replied.
“Fair enough, that’s what I thought. I’ve never seen an American-born-Chinese like you. Most of the ones I’ve met were just cowards. At least the people from the Republic of China fought with us in the North Korean war, your fighting spirits are worthy of praise.”
Captain John said, “Alright then, I accept your conditions. You help us break the deadlock, we accept your team and promise to keep your authorization over your own properties.”
“Deal.”

Zhou Qingfeng returned the wireless radio to Lena Fox. Miss Fox praised joyfully, “Victor, you’re a hero, I love you so much!”
“Unfortunately, you can’t give me a kiss right now,” Zhou Qingfeng heaved a sigh of relief and they laughed with David Lawrence. He spoke to Lena, “Things are just getting started. Send my equipment here with DogMeat. I think a war is going to start real soon.”
After around half-an-hour, Zhou Qingfeng saw DogMeat with his equipment. Apart from DogMeat, there were also Katrina, Butcher, and a few members of the Brotherhood of Steel.
“I’m Johnson.”
A Caucasian stood in front of them and he was wearing a flight jacket. He had a serious facial expression. The moment he saw Zhou Qingfeng, he took the initiative to shake Zhou Qingfeng’s hand.
“Let’s talk about the details of the plan. By the way, I’ve brought some equipment for you. Even though I don’t really like the Chinese, I don’t mind accepting you if you’re good enough.”
“I’m Victor Hugo,” Zhou Qingfeng shook his hand. “I’m planning to fight along this street and the Brotherhood of Steel can just follow us from behind.”
The location of the war zone was uptown Manhattan. It was different to downtown Manhattan which had a large amount of tall buildings. Instead, it had ordinary buildings which had no more than ten floors and the average heights of the buildings were below fifty meters.
The frontline was covered with ruined and destroyed buildings; all sorts of bricks and broken pieces from the collapsed buildings formed many slopes. Johnson took a look at the blocked street and said, “This is the strongest defense point of Skull and Bones. Do you know what’s over there?”
“Two M1A3 ‘Abrams’ main battle tanks, two M2A4 ‘Bradley’ infantry fighting vehicles, around six to eight ‘Stryker’ interim armored vehicles, and two hundred full-armed infantries. Apart from that, there are tons of mines set up by the infantries and there are snipers on top of some buildings.”
Zhou Qingfeng had been looking at the place the entire day. He was very clear about the setup of Skull and Bones. Johnson frowned as he listened to Zhou Qingfeng. He only knew that Skull and Bones had many heavy weapons and armors. Apart from that, they had a large number of people and they would not be able to make it through. Little did he know, they would not even be able to defend against Skull and Bones with just their weapons.
“You guys are just gonna rush there stupidly?” Johnson looked at the people with Zhou Qingfeng. There were only four of them and there was even a woman. Oh….. and a robotic dog!
“We need some blasting charge, at least a hundred kilogram. Did you bring my ‘Cougar’ heavy-armored vehicle here?” Zhou Qingfeng asked. “I need it to break the enemies’ defense.”
“We’ll give you everything you need,” Johnson said. “But, don’t expect that I’ll send you soldiers to help you out. If you can’t make it through, we won’t be helping you.”
“I’m aware of that,” Zhou Qingfeng was not expecting any help from them.
Very soon, Johnson got what Zhou Qingfeng wanted and they withdrew to wait for the road to be opened up. As they were leaving, one of the advisors in the Brotherhood of Steel asked, “Commander, do you really trust that Chinese man?”
“No.”
“Do you think he can do it?”
“I guess this Victor Hugo is going to put all the blasting charges in the vehicle to break their defense. Even though the chance of success is very low, I don’t mind giving it a shot. After all, we won’t lose anything if they fail.”
After Johnson left, Butcher walked towards Zhou Qingfeng and said, “Mox said sorry that he couldn’t come.”
Zhou Qingfeng replied, “I’m not going to ask a severely injured man to fight with us.”
Katrina asked, “Victor, what are you actually going to do?”
Looking at the fierce lady’s facial expression, it was obvious that she was a little excited for the fight. Zhou Qingfeng stated the setup of the troops of Skull and Bones. Katrina was rather excited to face a strong enemy.
“Did you bring your electromagnetic rifle?” Zhou Qingfeng asked.
Katrina swung her shoulder strap and a unique-looking, high-tech weapon was in her hands. Accurate, high speed, high penetration, and powerful were the features of the M72 electromagnetic rifle.
“Later, I’ll order DogMeat to create a chaotic situation and drive the Cougar, which should be full of blasting charges by then, into the center of the battlefield to explode their armored vehicles. I’m just afraid the snipers, with their wide vision on the top of the buildings, might shoot me. So, you need to watch over my life!”
Katrina said with a dignified expression once she heard that Zhou Qingfeng was going to take the biggest risk, “I got it. I promise I won’t let any sniper interfere.”
