“This happened more than thirty years ago. Professor Alonzo separated a special enzyme from the cold virus. This enzyme could promote human cell activity and improve metabolic function.”
“In the experiment he carried out on white mice, Professor Alonzo found out that this enzyme could greatly improve the bodily functions of mice. He thought that it could be a new drug for cancer. He named this enzyme, ‘NTZ-1’ and began the endless study about it.”
“For the past thirty years, from the earliest NTZ-1 to the latest NTZ-49, Professor Alonzo spent his whole life putting effort into researching it. His findings used to shock the world. But, there were also accusations of slander. In the end, he could only stay in this hospital as a doctor who specialized in the treatment of viruses in order to get this small laboratory.”
“The Professor turned extremely weird as he had been laughed at and misunderstood for years. Even though his ability was unrivalled, he couldn’t trust anyone, anymore. He was paranoid that someone would steal the results of his findings. That’s why he didn’t have any assistance.”
“As for me, I’m not a biologist, neither am I a medical doctor. I am just the person who feeds the mice and helps Professor Alonzo to clean his lab.”

“However, its side effects were as obvious as its benefits. According to the results of the studies in mice, it only lasts for a month.”

After forty-eight hours, organs will fail to function and the brain would die.”
In the small Alonzo Superpower Laboratory, Zhou Qingfeng was freaked out by the white man’s words. He just found out that there was hidden danger behind the superpower. He quickly asked, “According to the the results of the mice that you were talking about, what would happen if ordinary people ate it?”
The white man shrugged his shoulders and with a very sorry face, he said, “This substance didn’t even pass the test on animals. It wouldn’t have progressed to clinical evaluation. So, no one would know what’s going to happen to you.”
What…. Does this mean that I will turn crazy in a month?
Zhou Qingfeng asked again, impatiently, “How many of these substances do you have?”
The white man said with regret on his face, “There was only one bottle in the fridge and you took it.”
“I saw that there were a few bottles in the fridge.”
“The other bottles were either empty or filled with something else. In fact, you were lucky. That fridge was used to store biological agents. Some of them were poisonous.”
What the fuck! How could I be so unlucky?! I was just thirsty and looking for something to drink. Contrary to what I had expected, I had walked into a medical biological laboratory and happened to drink a bottle of substance that I wasn’t supposed to drink.
“Did Professor Alonzo make more of this stuff?”
“I’m sorry. The Professor has always been paranoid about people stealing the results of his findings. He made them and used them on the spot.”
Zhou Qingfeng thought that he was terribly unlucky. How could he encounter so many frivolous matters? He asked the white guy again, “Where is Professor Alonzo now?”
The white man sighed and said, “This is the worst of the bad news. The professor was already older than eighty-years old. He has been trying to design the perfect NTZ-50 without its side effects, yet, it didn’t work.”
“As he was very depressed and felt that he was running out of time, Professor Alonzo made the last NTZ-49 three days ago, and he drank a little bit of it.”
“Professor Alonzo was too old and his body couldn’t handle the transformation. He woke up yesterday and excitedly shrieked, “Eureka!” However, after that….. he died! In fact, the one that you drank was the one he left behind.”

Professor Alonzo’s private laboratory was very small. It was divided into two rooms in a simple manner. The outer room was where the white man fed the mice, and the inner room was where Professor Alonzo conducted his secret experiments.
Zhou Qingfeng used the rifle to violently break the lock of the inner room and he found the professor’s computer. This professor could have have spent his whole life and all of his money on this laboratory of approximately, thirty square meters. The equipments in here looked very advanced.
“That’s the computer. It has the best specs and you could bring it anywhere,” the white man said and pointed to a messy office table.
There was an armband on the table and that was Professor Alonzo’s private computer. As soon as Zhou Qingfeng put on the armband, the virtual screen of an operating system popped out from it. The white man said, “The password is Professor Alonzo’s birthday.”
As soon as Zhou Qingfeng got the password, he lightly pressed the virtual screen and the menu started up. Then…. he did not know how to use it!
The white man realized that Zhou Qingfeng was staring at him again. He quickly assumed the responsibility of a teacher and patiently taught him how to use this private computer with the latest technology of 2030.
When Zhou Qingfeng looked at the huge amount of documents and books about the biological and medical studies by Professor Alonzo, he sighed again and said, “I don’t think I can learn this much in one month.”
“Don’t worry, you will only need to learn how to make the NTZ-49.” The white man turned to the videos of the recorded experiments and said, “According to the experiments done on mice, your intelligence quotient will increase by up to a hundred and fifty after one week. You will be incredibly smart and intellectual.”
“And all the equipments used to make NTZ-49 are in this lab. Maybe, you could talk to the hospital to see if you could use them.”
The white man waved and pointed at all sorts of biological products and equipments in the laboratory as if he had solved Zhou Qingfeng’s problem. However, Zhou Qingfeng was screaming in his mind, The whole world will end soon. How would I have the time to deal with the production of drugs?
