Zion was traveling towards the northern mountain range after meeting with Silvia. He was free for the time being and only need to appear for the expo. He entrusted various duties to everyone including his siblings and parents. He knew that he could trust them to accomplish these tasks. Therefore, he decided it was time for a visit to the northern mountains.
Northern mountains were one of the first regions that transformed. Even though there were, many rumors floated around this place; no one knows the true extent of the mystery of this place. Zion knew he could find the secrets of this place and get himself various resources.
"So, Vivus, why does merchant alliance give so much importance to this planet? After all, if they are powerful, they could directly enter this planet and take whatever they want, isn't it? Zion asked.
Zion was very much interested about the merchant alliance, they sent a god tier magical instrument just to make transactions with natives. He didn't understand the value of this artifact but knew it is precious and mysterious.
"Zion, you are extremely ignorant and I pity you. You belong to the fourth quadrant of this galaxy. Once the fourth quadrant was the most powerful force in this galaxy, but a war caused severe damage to the sector."
"What…!" Zion amazed by the information he was hearing and he couldn't help, but be proud at being a part of this galaxy.
"The enemies were very powerful as they united against the sector, even other quadrants betrayed the fourth quadrant due to extreme jealousy. After all, the fourth quadrant was one of the largest and evolved areas. The laws of this region were so superior and unique which resulted in producing many enviable talents."
"If they have that much power, how could they perish? Why this planet did become so bleak and infertile?" Zion was furious while thinking about his planet. If the planet was not so barren their civilization may already be flourishing, but they didn't get a chance.
"So, what does this have to do with the merchant alliance? Zion inquired Vivus. He wanted to know more about history. After all, it was a wise action to know many things.
"They are not part of the galaxy, but from above the galaxy."
Zion was astonished and shocked, it has been so many times that Zion amazed at this point. He understood now that he was an ignorant idiot who knew nothing. He continued to listen to what Vivus was telling.
"Above galaxy, there are various realms above galaxies that wield so much power. We call it the God realm. The people in that realm couldn't come down easily, especially to a lower realm like this. So, they released this magical instrument to the planet." Vivus stopped his explanation and looked at Zion to know about his feeling. He was satisfied with the dumbfounded expression on the face of Zion.
"What is there for these people to cherish here, in this barren wasteland?"
"Do you know why the fourth quadrant is a wasteland?" Vivus asked Zion. He was confused. After all, if the fourth quadrant were powerful at a time, why it would fall to such a length without even producing one true warrior. Zion didn't have an answer. Therefore, he looked at Vivus for the reason.
"They sealed the fourth quadrant; the galaxy paid the price for this treachery. The galaxy itself crippled while the fourth quadrant was sealed, it stilled any progress the galaxy could have. The sealed fourth quadrant has gone into hibernation to protect itself from the destruction caused by the war."
"This one action caused the civilization to fall and no one was able to take the path of a warrior on this realm again. Now the fourth quadrant is separated from the galaxy and evolving itself into a galaxy. That is why your planet is changing."
Vivus stopped what he was talking and gave Zion the time to digest what they have learned. Zion also kept himself quite as they wandered around the northern mountains. He didn't find anything suspicious or strange. He moved forward without any aim to sense something.
Vivus who was silent for a long time came out after seeing the senseless walking of Zion. He watched Zion for some time and understood he was not using his skills wisely.
"What are you doing, Zion? Did you find anything?"
"I'm searching; I can't sense anything strange. I believe we should go deeper inside the mountain range." Zion said. He disturbed by this unexpected result. They walked for a day and didn't find anything useful. He doubted the authenticity of the rumor. Perhaps he was sooner than the mutation occurred at northern mountains.
Zion decided to take a rest and decided to listen about merchant alliance. He was curious about their origin and power they wield. He also wanted to know about the influences who are coveting this realm.
"So, tell me more about the merchant alliance Vivus. You are far more knowledgeable than I am." Zion praised and elevated him to talk about the past.
"A realm at its awakening stage is precious; new materials would be unearthed some will be exotic while others may increase lifespan. Since the realm is trying to evolve into a galaxy there will be a mysterious gas released by it, we call it 'the origin' gas. It is golden yellow in the color and its preciousness is beyond your imagination."
"Some fruits are helpful in understanding laws; you should understand the studying of laws is not simple. It is like trying to understand the language and functions of a program, but a very much higher grade."
"You don't need to understand much about the merchant alliance for now. All you should bear in mind is that you could purchase many things from the magical instrument once you find it."
