Zion took the keys from Gree and started the engine. The car came to life with a quiet whine. The car moved slowly and steadily from the main road to a less appealing residential area. The area was full of people and they could see the looks of envy and jealousy in their eyes. They murmured, after all, it was very rare for such cars to appear in the slums.

The people started to surround them. Some started to touch and feel the body of the car. They were talking about how much this car could go for in the black market.

"Why the hell did you drive this car to the slums, you dumb ass? I guess I would have to look for a new one!" Gree sighed and looked at an unresponsive Zion and continued," I never understand why Blake even stay at this godforsaken place, can't you see all these waste and congested space."

"Keep silence, I will deal with them!" Zion opened the car and stepped out. Gree also left the car seeing what his friend was going to do. "Leave! Zion roared at the crowd." The crowd moved backward but never left. Few people left the crowd and came towards the car. Some of them had spanners and rods.

"You are in the wrong area my boys, did you guys had an accident to take a wrong drive? Ha…Ha…Ha..." The people laughed and jeered at them. Zion looked coldly at them; he knew this is not the time to show weakness. The more you lower the head the more they take.

"Are you sure we are on the wrong street, I don't think I'm. You could all leave now and we would do our business if you are intent to disturb us…" Zion smiled and said, "I don't mind sending a few of you to the mortuary." Now Zion has made the full crowd angry, even those who didn't want to meddle came at Zion."

"Get inside Gree and hold on to the car tightly." Zion evaded the punch from a guy and slapped at his face. Zion ran and started to strike at the acupoints of the mob, which seemed to be in frenzy. He thrust the hands coming at him and punched that bald man in the stomach, with the extreme pain, that guy has gone back and lie down.

A few people came from behind and get hold of Zion. He jumped and everyone fell on his back, with a new found energy Zion punched and pierced them. Seeing one by one, the people were knocked out, the crowd started to back off.

"That is enough!" A young man came from a narrow alley called out to the crowd to stop. He looked at Zion, who was now sitting on the ground and breathing deeply. His white shirt was full of blood and dirt, the exhausted Zion realized what he had done and thought silently, 'guess I lost control, luckily no one died.'

"What the hell happened to you, Zion, you nearly killed them all." Blake fumed at Zion. Disregarding Blake, Zion asked Gree to leave the car. It was now Blake saw Gree who was hiding inside the car.

"Shit! You brought this piece of garbage to my place!" Blake was seemingly irritated after seeing, Gree who was mocking at him, and that made Blake even angrier."

"You are lucky that he was with you." Black who took his eyes from Gree and Inquired," So what happened to you, Zion? Are you all right? Blake invited Zion to get fresh inside his base.

Now that Gree and Blake were sitting together and they waited for Zion to come out. Gree was nervous and Blake gave him a warm smile.

"So tell me, why did you make a scene on the streets? I didn't expect a lazy guy like you would go on a rampage like that!"

Zion smiled mirthlessly and thought, 'It may be because of the memory, should be more careful from now on'. "You don't need to worry about that I'm fine." And Zion changed the subject subtly, "I heard you are harassing Vincent, he works for me from now on."

"You should know one thing Zion, that is you can't come here and boss around me. Vincent humiliated me; it's only fair of me to let him know the social hierarchy."

"I guess I spoke wrong, he will be working with us. We will be starting a company together, the four of us. Each one of us has our own forte. It's only logical to do it together. Let me fill you in!"

"I have stumbled across a few designs, technology-wise it's superior to what we have today in the market. Drones, phones, arms and a new leap in the harnessing of solar energy." Zion thoughts of the days he perfected any gadget that may be useful to survive.

"We would be doing this big, in a global level. The cities won't be taking a blind eye towards it, but we would be expanding our research team to dominate the market. Our company would be everywhere, in each market.

"Did you take pills, Zion?" Blake was mocking at him now, but Gree was looking at Zion with dazzling eyes which crept the hell out of everyone.

"I'm serious and ten percent of the shares would be given to each one of you. I would be the one providing tech and you guys should invest at least a hundred million credits each.

Gree was like a rabid dog and attack Zion verbally," are you nuts, do you know how much were a hundred million! Where do we go and collect it?"

"I know, you could take a loan Gree or sell few of your real estate and I'm sure Blake already as a solution for him. I would text the account number for the transaction. Only one question, would you stand by me?"

"OK, we would! We believe you won't pit us. If you did we would collect it from your father and you would be screwed." Gree grinned and laughed heartily. Blake was silent in his own thoughts.

"You also said we will be entering arms manufacturing. How could we even manage that? It's time-consuming and you need to influence every single one of the bastards out there. They would be after a piece of us."

"I would manage that and I would be expecting money before tomorrow night." Zion stopped and looked at the two people sitting with him and said, I don't understand why you guys couldn't get along. You would be partners from now own, don't forget."

"So, how does the slum doing, anything unusual?" Zion asked Blake casually. "Nothing particular, just like every day." Blake thought about something and warned Zion, "Now that you asked, I would warn both of you not to wander around the sector zero. I heard a lot of strange things happening around and many people were missing there. It was just the police were suppressing it to avoid negative publicity."

Zion thought about sector zero. 'It was an old inhabitable residential sector, a ghost sector. That place has been taken by the wild long ago'. Zion decided to pay a visit to that place and find the source of the problem.

"Well, I guess we would be taking our leave, see you when I see you."Zion rose from the seat with Gree.

"The news couldn't be stopped, Zion. Your parents would know what you did here today. You could have come silently like you always do, but you didn't, care to tell me why?"

"Why should I hide? Let them know." Zion walked towards the door.

"They won't be the only ones; a lot of people like to hear about you, Zion. Be careful."

Zion turned back and gave Blake a smile, then said, "You don't have to worry about that, 'Blake Flintheart'."

Blake silently stayed and watched his friend walk away. He saw through the change in his friend, but he didn't know whether it was for the good or bad.
