Blood flushed to his face. He didn't dare to look in Angelize direction. All he wanted was to dig a hole and bury himself six feet under the ground.
Naughty things?
Compared to his wretched face, Angelize expressions were calm and composed as she took a sip of the tea like a real lady. Placing the cup over the table, she got up grabbing her hoodie and walked straight to Christain who was standing frozen on stairs.
"Let's go", her voice shattered the invisible ice around him as he nodded and abruptly turned to climb up.
Once they were upstairs, headed for his room, Christain mumbled.
"My mom, don't mind her. She is just...", as he struggled to find the words to explain the situation Angelize said:
''I didn't. Its alright.", her voice was impassive then her face warmed a bit as she quietly said "In fact I like her"
Christain was amazed to find that. That cold and inscrutable girl could like someone?
Indeed he had seen that warm look on her face when she was talking to his mother. She never wore such look even when talking with Sarah. It felt kind of unnatural on her.
Even then the warm look she had, wearing a gentle smile, greatly amplified her beauty. Christain believed that this girl would look better if she could smile more.
In the large and spacious room, Angelize walked towards the divan and threw away her hoodie. Christain was about to close the door when Angelize said with a teasing smile.
"Keep the door open. Did you forget Auntie's words"
It was a first. Angelize had never smiled at him genuinely before. And it was a real smile not a mocking sneer like earlier.
This time Christain observed her every feature with clarity. Her thick, black, waist-length hair was down and covered most of her back. A few short bangs covered her delicate face. She was wearing a skirt with vibrant colors and a light pink T-shirt that was tight around her chest and slim waist, enhancing her curves notably. Her long, slim legs were covered with white stockings and she wore matching pink sandals.
It was the first time Christain had seen her without her oversized hoodie that blocked the view of her perfect physique. Her pretty fair face was already so captivating but with that perfect physique, Christain was sure there wasn't anyone in the world better looking than her.
She was only dressed casually and already looked so enticing. Christain could only imagine how devastating her looks would be with a bit revealing outfit.
Abruptly, Christain got a grip over himself and stopped himself from staring at her any longer and looking like an utter fool.
Damn it! What was wrong with him?, he thought angrily.
She was a suspect, nothing more. A mystery he had to unravel. A riddle he had to solve.
"She was just joking", Christain uttered to pacify his embarrassment caused by his mother with a lie.
His mother was definitely not joking.
He decided to leave the door open in the end. If his mother saw the close door God knew how many more embarrassing things she would say to them.
Angelize slouched on divan. Putting her hand in her hoodie pocket, she took out her tablet and downloaded the content of their assignment. Meanwhile Christain grabbed his laptop and sat beside Angelize and started to explain basic idea and calculated operations to her.
For Angelize, it was piece of cake but she maintained a curious face and performed like a person with average IQ and acted like she knew little.
Christain knew she was only acting. He made a couple of smart remarks tending to expose Angelize but she didn't lose her calm and was persistent through her act.
If Christain hadn't known about her true nature, he would have believed that she was just an average student. But his intuition had never betrayed him. So he was not going to give up on this idea.
Then no matter how genuine Angelize act looked.
And so three hours had passed.
When Angelize went to restroom, Christain picked up her tablet. He broke its password and attached it to his laptop and hurriedly downloaded something in it.
This was the opportunity he had been waiting for long. The next step of his plan-the reason he risked his grades and invited her to pair up with him.
When Angelize came back, her tablet was at its original spot. Christain was giving the final touches to their assignment on his laptop. Angelize didn't detect anything suspicious.
She stretched and yawned.
Outside the huge window, loud thunders and lightening could be heard. Rain intensified suddenly.
Angelize walked to the window and threw it open. The temperature of the room suddenly dropped. Fresh air and cold breeze filled the room. Splatters of rain entered the room under violent wind and washed Angelize face and soaked her clothes.
Christain felt a chill. He shuddered and looked up from his laptop.
He opened his mouth to scream 'Are you insane' to see Angelize wet cloth. She would definitely get a cold.
But just then Angelize bent over the window. Her skirt moved up, revealing the back of her thigh. Her stockings were only were only knee-high so naturally her delicate skin from her knee to the edge of her panties was uncovered.
Christain throat went dry and no voice came out any longer.
He couldn't look away then no matter how hard he tried.
Sweet smell of rain entered Angelize nostrils. Pleasant drops of rain fell on her face and welled her heart with jubilation. Angelize suddenly turned back. Her eyes were brimming with excitement and her face revealed a beautiful smile.
Her hair was wet. Her face was wet and front of her shirt was soaked and sticking to her body. Under the wet shirt, he could see the outline of her bra. Her light shirt had gone transparent and revealed the outline of her waist to her belly button.
Lightening flashed across the sky behind Angelize and at the moment she looked like a real Angel descended from heavens.
He couldn't endure it anymore.
Christain fingers twitched. His face was burning red. Abruptly he stood up, leaving the laptop on the table and dashed out of room at an abnormal speed.
Angelize was left puzzled in the room.
