A lovely little girl was drawing something on a piece of paper. She had short black hair and ample rosy cheeks. Her skin was so delicate and flawless. Her eyes were a beautiful color of green. One could not help but smile seeing such a cute creature.
She looked up as she heard the sound of footsteps in her direction. Her eyes found a good looking man walking to her. He looked like in his twenties. He had a good getup on him.
"What are you doing little Angel?"
The man crouched down in front of her and smiled at her in an amiable manner.
Being a child, she was gullible and believed that the man held no bad intentions.
How wrong she was.
"I was drawing a picture", she said cheerfully in her child like voice, "This is mama, this is me and this is you", she said pointing at the pictures clumsily with her small fingers.
As she looked up at the man, she noticed his eyes had gone blank. His initially amiable face was no longer affectionate. His eyes turned into pitch black like two black holes sucking everything.
Her six year self was terrified beyond measures.
She screamed.
"Father!"
When Angelize woke up, her back was soaked in cold sweat. She immediately sat straight on bed and gasped for air. Her heart was hammering against her chest. Once her heart beats stabilized, she closed her eyes and meditated for a while.
That dream again.
She turned off her alarm and got up to freshen up.
Her tablet was acting strangely but she didn't have a time to think about that as she was already getting late. She hurriedly dressed up and left for college.
At her usual spot, in the second last row, she sat quietly waiting for Sarah.
At that moment she saw Sarah rushing towards her. Angelize stared in wonder at her as she ran panic-struck towards her.
Approaching Angelize with flushed face and terrified eyes, she frantically siad.
"A-Ange h-h-he..."
"Take a breath", Angelize said as she pulled her to a seat. Once Sarah calmed a bit, Angelize gave her a water bottle.
What was wrong with her now?
She drank some water and finally seemed to calm a bit.
"Now tell me slowly. What happened?"
"I-Its Z-Zayden", Sarah looked at Angelize with terrified eyes expecting her to reciprocate her panic but like always, Angelize was calm.
However her eyes deepened once she listened to that familiar name.
"Now tell me slowly what happened exactly", Angelize said clearly to see the trembling body of Sarah.
"I-I was going by the baseball ground to grab some stuff. T-There I saw him with his gang", Sarah stuttered
"Did he hurt you?", that thing worried Angelize the most, the rest could be overlooked or dealt with later.
"N-No b-but..."
Angelize sighed in relief. So she was not hurt.
"But? "Angelize asked after a pause.
"H-he was talking about us. I-I was scared to see him but t-then eavesdropped on him. He said they will be ganging up on you"
Angelize was slightly worried but not scared at all.
That only meant a little more trouble for her.
"A-After that h-he saw me and t-they ganged on me..."
Angelize face turned angry.
"You said they didn't hurt you!", Angelize voice was a little high.
"They didn't", Sarah took a deep breath to get a grip on her stammering, "They just pushed me down and asked me to tell you that they won't be letting you off"
Angelize leaned against the chair and rubbed her temple.
Such a headache.
Can't he find someone else to play with?
"When did he come back and where was he the whole month?", Angelize asked expecting for the gossiping Sarah to know the answer.
"I'm not sure but I heard other girls talking that he was aboard due to some injury", Sarah said, "Could it be...?"
Angelize frowned "I don't think so. My kick was not that harsh"
"But they said he was spitting out blood that day?"
"Then maybe he possess a very weak body", Angelize was sure that she had used normal strength to tackle him.
"That's not important", Sarah said, "What are you going to do now? He'll causing trouble for you", her voice was impatient and fretful
"I don't need to do anything!"
"Angelize!"
"I can take care of myself", Angelize asserted, "The one who needs to do something is you"
"But he said he will target you and..."
"He won't be getting his hands on me. So naturally he'll seek out you to lure me out", Angelize said, "Even if he gets his hands on me, I know some tricks and will be successful in running away but if its with you, you can't fight back neither can you run away"
Angelize didn't tell her that she could easily handle Zayden and subdue him because Sarah wouldn't believe her and would continue to argue.
Sarah had seen only a little bit of Angelize martial art so she was unaware of her true ability.
Sarah thought for a while and concluded that what Angelize said was right.
"So what should I do?"
"Just stay with me and stay at crowded places without me. He won't be doing anything in crowded places. Last time he cornered us there were only a few students left in corridor"
Sarah was fearful as she said hopelessly:
"How long can it go on. He will definitely find an opportunity"
Angelize sneered.
"Before that I'll finish him once and for all"
