Everything in the Imperial college was lavish and regal. Angelize had never visited Principal office before. But now that she was here, she saw how neat and elaborate it was. The floor was pure white and shining like snow. Walls were white.

It was like that the color was set intentionally to give someone a cold and fearful feeling.

The only color was Principal crescent desk that was wooden brown and a lot of chairs were placed around it. A grim man was sitting on a black color revolving chair.

"Miss Lockheart", he said in his grave voice, "Please have a seat"

"Yes sir", Angelize walked to the interior of the office and sat one of the several chairs around the crescent desk.

Her face was emotionless. Principal was surprised to see that. When a student is called to Principal office, he is usually panicky and nervous.

But the girl was was strangely very collected and composed.

Angelize saw another man sitting on the chair along Ashley and Caroline. He was their English professor.

Angelize frowned. What was he doing here?

"Miss Blade, do you know why you have been called to office", Principal said in his critical voice that could shake any student heart.

Well, of course not Angelize.

"No, Sir. I've no idea", Angelize replied blankly.

First she wanted to know the perspective of story Caroline had told the Principal.

Principal was surprised.

"Miss Lockheart Didn't you have a clash with Miss Wang previously in the girls bathroom", Principal chose to be modest with his words and didn't directly implicate Angelize in his words.

Although previously he was bain-washed by Caroline and Ashley that the matter was only one sided bullying. After the English Professor attestment, he was confirmed that Angelize was at the fault.

"I didn't have a clash with Caroline", Angelize said calmly. Everyone in the office stared at her in incredulity including the English professor.

Was she shamelessly denying it?

"Because it was only one-sided bullying", she continued.

One-sided bullying?

"Miss Lockheart are you admitting to your misconduct?", Principal asked

Until now he had only listened to Caroline side of story so he immediately concluded that the Angelize must be the culprit in the one-sided bullying.

But how could she admit her fault so camly?

Didn't she know that Imperial college had strict rules and breaking of any law would result in her getting expelled from the college.

It could have made sense if she was from a rich family because in that case her family could interfere to let go of matter. But this girl had no solid background.

Where did her confidence come from?

"Sir I didn't admit to any misconduct", Angelize declared.

"Didn't you?", Principal asked, "Then what did you mean by one-sided bullying. Explain it"

Angelize smiled faintly. She had a vague notion that Principal had been fed lies by Caroline and Ashley.

"Sir first may I request you to clarify the matter to me. I can't tackle what is the actual problem here"

Although Principal was confused at her peculiar behaviour, he still told her the whole story. Caroline had come to office crying while Ashley supported her. According to their version of story it was Angelize who had threatened them then hit Caroline for no reason. Caroline friends had become the witness of the incident. So there were five testimonies against Angelize.

They didn't mention Angelize beating up all five of them and had entirely changed the story. After all who would believe that she herself took those five of them down.

Smart choice, Angelize thought. It could make the story look more credible.

And what more? Their English professor had given support in favour of Caroline that she was always on her best behaviour and couldn't do any wrong to anyone.

And he had even pointed out Angelize lack of interest in studies and her irregular behaviour.

With the professor approval of Caroline, it was natural for Principal not to believe in Angelize and suspect her for all reasons.

She never liked that professor. He was always flattering the rich student.

Caroline uncle held status. She didn't know that their English professor would go to such an extent to suck up to him.

"Sir now I'll tell you what exactly happened. Me and my friend Sarah were cornered by Caroline, Ashley and their three other friends who gave testimonies against me and we were bullied.", Angelize said, " And I never raised a hand on Caroline"

The latter part of her statement was entirely a lie.

Ashley and Caroline flared up.

"Stop lying. You was the one who bullied her!", Ashley shouted. Because they were in Principal office she had to keep her curses to herself.

That was impolite of her to shout in office. Principal was not happy. But he decided to ignore her for now.

"How are you going to prove yourself innocent? We have five testimonies against you. Your words alone can't prove anything", Principal disclosed the odds that were heavily against Angelize.

"Sir, can you please tell me that what does the third rule of college states?", she asked in a reverential tune.

"It states that in case of any violent act that results in a visible injury on the victim body the offender can be expelled from the college if the matter is not resolved between participants families"

"Exactly", Angelize emphasized, "Now Caroline can you show the Principal any visible injury?"

Caroline was taken back. It hurt pretty bad where Angelize had hit her but it was a fact that her injury was not visible.

Of course Caroline had intentionally never given her a visible injury.

Principal was amazed at her sharpness.

He had realized by now that this girl was very clever.

"She had an internal injury. You hit her on her clavicle. There is no way her injury would be visible!", Ashley broke in their conversation, agitated.

"In case of an internal injury, a medical report is required. That is also mentioned in rules.", Angelize simply refuted, "Isn't it Sir?"

Principal came out of his daze caused by impressiveness of that girl and agreed quietly; "Yes you're right. A medical report is required"

As it felt like Angeize was going to win the argument without even using that video, the English professor stepped in.

"Sir", he broke in, "Rules can created to be adjusted according to the peculiarity of case. My student was hurt so bad that she had to take a leave and I can attest to that. And we must not forget that we have five claims that it was Miss Lockheart who abused Miss Wang"

Attest that?

He was lying.

Finally Angelize had managed to make him say those lies.

Angelize thin lips curled up and she looked down so that Principal wouldn't see that victorious smile.
