"Presumptuous!", Professor Brad spat with a red face.
Once Principal eyes fell on the paper that was torn into two, he was enraged.
It took him so much effort to persuade Ms. Wang to write this!
The matter was clear as water and everyone knew Caroline was at fault. Now if he was to decide totally in favour of Caroline, he would lose face.
But at the same time he couldn't offend Wang family because they were his greatest supporter.
So making Caroline write that apology was his feeble attempt to give an impression that he held the matter justly so no one in the future would use it against him.
"I un-accept the apology", Caroline declared arrogantly with her smirk and threw the paper pieces on the table.
"Ms. Lockheart your audacious actions would be held against you", the principal warned.
Angelize laughed.
"Haven't you already made your intentions of expelling me clear?", her haughty voice said, "And you still want me to put through the act", she added mockingly, "Respected Sir"
"That's not a way to talk to your teacher!", Professor Brad broke in.
Angelize threw an icy glare at him that immediately shut him off.
There was a thing about her glare that distinguished it. When she looked at someone menacingly, one could feel the chills to his marrow. They call it psychological manipulation. And that overwhelmed people with unreasonable fear and they quietly shut their mouths.
It didn't work on people with a strong mind.
In case of professor Brad, he sure was a coward.
"Ms. Lockheart I understand your concern but Ms Wang might accept your apology"
Angelize looked at that man incredulously. Did he take her for a dumb person?
She was standing upright. Once listening to him, she forgot all etiquettes and placed her hands on the desk and fixed her icy glare on that contemptuous man in sitting on the office seat.
"Do I look like a brainless person to you?", her voice was low and raspy that made it sound more scary, "I think Sir already knows that she'll not be accepting my apology at any rate"
But he still wanted to fool her into agreeing. After all he was forced to decide unjustly, it would be used by his competitors against him.
"I might be able to persuade her to..."
"I don't need your charity"
Professor Brad wanted to rebuke her again but after that glare he couldn't summon the courage to do so.
"If that's what you've decided then I can't help you", Principal said slowly.
Angelize was even more surprised. He made it sound like he was a good soul intending to help her so perfectly. Like he was never in wrong.
She chuckled lightly.
"Then I'll have to help myself", saying this she didn't care to stay any longer and left the office.
'Then I'll have to help myself',her words reverberated in Principal mind. Why was he in cold sweat?

If it wasn't for her being busy with Zayden matter, she would already have thought of a good punishment for them. But at that time she was very vulnerable. She had to take every step with great caution.

That day when Angelize was walking down the pavement to her apartment, suddenly she had an ominous feeling. Hair on her neck stood up.
Just that last movement, she took two steps to a side.
Something passed by her ear.
All she heard was a shrill sound followed by a bang.
She gasped.
