Angelize glared at Christin.
"Tomorrow result list will be out anyway so admit it or not everyone will know it"
Angelize and Christin were in cafeteria. Angelize didn't know that why he had to leave his boisterous central table to come and sit with her at the side table to torture her. Angelize was aware of the ugly looks she was getting from the people of central table for stealing their idol. Also Sarah was not in sight who could mitigate the situation and engage Christin in her juicy gossips so taht he could stop torturing her.
Meanwhile Damon and his group was seen walking to their table. Christin was alone, without the support of his fangroup on Angelize table so Damon had dared to near him and mock him.
"You seem to be in quite good mood. Looks like your assignment went well", saying it out smugly, Damon laughed.
Unexpected to Damon, Christin didn't fret but instead a smile unfolded on his lips.
"You have no idea", Christin said cheerfully. A mischievous glint flashed across in Christin eyes, "How was yours Damon?"
Damon was taken aback with his good response. He had originally wanted to mock him.
"F-Fine. The questions were out of course so..."
"How about it? We place a bet who gets a higher ranking this year?"
Damon was surprised. Competing with Christin? He couldn't dream about it because Christin was a gifted genius. But then Daamon remembered that Christin had paired up with that trash this time so there were no chance of him getting in first ten. Damon looked at Chritin with a scornful look.
"You still think you can beat me after having a trash for a partner?"
Christin smile widened.
"Isn't it good? You know that I won't be ranking in first 10 because of my partner and you'll definitely win. So I don't see any reason for you to reject"
Damon had a puzzled face. At his side, his partner in assignment said.
"Don't do it Damon. I think he's tricking us"
"What? Are you scared now that we will rank higher than you?", Christin said dramatically feigning incredulity in his tune.
"Who is scared of you!", Damon couldn't tolerate the insult, "Fine we will have a bet! What do you want?", he said arrogantly.
There was no way Christin and that trash for his girlfriend were going to beat him. So Damon didn't need to be scared.
"The one who wins will slap the one who loses five times"
Damon face filled with disbelief. But at the same time he was sure that Christin wouldn't be surpassing him. And he had despised him so much. What could be the better opportunity to give vent to his hate? A smile appeared on his face as he imagined himself slapping Christin.
"Fine. I hope you don't regret it"
"I don't agree", Angelize said.
Christin face fell.
Damon laughed.
"Christin it looks likes your partner here is chickening out!"
"Make it ten times", Angelize said surprising everyone. Angelize still remembered him calling her a trash, she looked at Damon with her icy stare that could quiver anyone's heart. Damon felt an inexplicable shudder. "The slap-make it ten times"
Christin face brightened. He cheered and whistled.
Damon also looked surprised.
"Arrogant aren't you? But keep yourself ready. I'm not going to be easy on you just because you are a girl"
Huffing, Damon left the table.
"Can you stop laughing now? It is annoying", Angelize said to Christin who had broken into cackles after Damon left as she looked around to find Sarah.
Why was she not here yet?
"I can't believe you said that!"
"And I can't believe it you're sitting here and being a nuisance to my peace"
Meanwhile, Angelize saw a girl in glasses having aghast face looking around fervently. Once her eyes located Angelize, she walked to her table.
"Y-You are Angelize?"
Angelize frowned while Christin stopped laughing and looked at that girl confused. It seemed like she had been running quite much to approach them due to her gasping and dishevelled hair.
"Yes"
"Y-Your friend Sarah. She is-She is cornered by Caroline and..."
Angelize quickly stood up. Christin also stood up.
"Where?"
The timid girl trembled slightly as she answered.
"In front of girls bathroom. I-I was just passing by when I saw them..."
Angelize didn't wait to listen more of her story as she quickly dashed out of the cafeteria.
