Chapter 2

The director was actually coming !
“Mr Leung said that your analysis report was very interesting. He saw a lot of potential, so he wanted to personally make a trip to the sports center, an onsite observation.” The Director’s Secretary had a very sweet voice, almost as if she was singing to her.

At that moment, Li Yongxuan really thought that the world had stopped spinning on it’s axis for a few seconds. She did not even breathe, she had no idea what they were talking about and could no longer hear what the secretary was saying on the other end of the phone.

She only knew that “he” was coming !

The last time they had met was last year in the Group’s year end party.

All her thoughts about drunkenness, champagne, bubble, romance vanished and she was back to reality. Back to being angry. Sure enough, he was such a nuisance !

Recently, she had been running to the training centre everyday in order to assess the facilities. The speed skating team were currently the main users of the training centre. She bumped into them frequently and realised that all the ten players in the team were conscientious, well behaved boys. All except Mai Weizhe.
This person…how would she put it.. was always testing her patience with just a few words.

If it were someone else, she would probably have apologised immediately, but Mai Weizhe’s special drawling and disrespectful tone brought out a sharp retort.
“The walkway is quite wide here, why are you always trying to get me to give way ?”
