Prince Mua Kong resumed back to reality, he shook his head, "Not today. Let's come have lunch here tomorrow," with that, they strolled off.
The next day around noon, Prince Mua Kong and his two bodyguards came to Lotus Flower Restaurant to have lunch. They reserved a private room as they may have other important information to discuss during their lunch.
After twenty minutes, there was a gentle knock on the door and a server came in with the food. The female server came up to their table with a tray of several different dishes. While she sat the dishes on the table, Mua Kong briefly glanced at the female server but she seemed older and is someone he is unfamiliar with.
While the group of three are eating, Mua Kong observed the floor below them to see if any of the workers down there could Hli Ja, but to his disappointment, neither the food or the workers that goes in and out of the room was familiar to him. He has been searching for her whereabouts for the last six years with no result so maybe he was hallucinating.
He sighed thinking he had gone crazy and continued to sip his tea. "My Lord, do you need something?" the personal bodyguard asked.
Looking spaced out, Mua Kong replied, "Let's leave the city after lunch."
After the three finished their food, the personal bodyguard took out some money and left the money on the table. They got up and left the restaurant to their carriage waiting outside on the street.
Scene ten:
On their way out of the town, across from the canal they can hear voices of a man and woman yelling at each other.
"Stop," Mua Kong shouted from the carriage. The two bodyguards who sat outside in front of the carriage controlling the two horse stopped the carriage. They turned to their left to look at the commotion across the canal.
That voice... Mua Kong furrowed his eyes as he peeked through the window. It sounded like the voice he heard yesterday. Right when they looked over, they saw from the side, a beautiful woman with long luscious hair in a bright yellow dress slapped the hand of a man off from her.
"Tou Lw, get lost!! I don't want to see your face!" The beautiful woman yelled as she puffed with angers.
The man shouted conceitedly, "My father is the wealthiest man in this town, I can give you everything. All women want to throw themselves at me! You should've been honored to be chosen by me!"
The beautiful woman looked at the man up and down in disdain and replied, "I don't like you, even if you owned all the wealth in the world. This is my last warning!" She turned around and headed towards town.
The man took a few steps past the woman and blocked the woman's path, he threatened, "What's so good about Cher Pheng? His father only owns a small restaurant. I can shut down that place anytime!"
The beautiful woman was furious when she heard this, she raised her hand to slap Tou Lw but he grabbed her wrist and inched closer to her. She took two steps to her side trying to back away and avoided the proximity from Tou Lw. Her back is now facing the group across the canal.
The beautiful woman yelled, "LET ME GO!" as she tried to yank her hand out of Tou Lw's grasp, she used all her might, step backward, and yank her hand off. When her hand slipped out from Tou Lw's grasp, she couldn't stop herself from falling backward. She tumbled backward, lost her stance and fell right into the canal. That part was the deepest part of the canal as it was the entrance part of the canal entering into the city.
"Yee Len!" Mua Kong yelled. His personal bodyguard jumped off from the carriage and dived into the canal to rescue the woman. Tou Lw was shocked at what just happened. When he shook off from the shock, he ordered one of his servant to jump in to save the woman as well. At this time, Yee Len had already dived under the water. He grabbed onto the girl and pulled her up to the other side of the canal next to the carriage.
The woman had not lost consciousness yet because Mua Kong and his bodyguard acted fast. She was wet and took a couple gulps of waters but she was fine. Yee Len dropped her on the ground. She crawled on the ground and with one hand on the ground to support her and the other hand comforting her chest as she coughed out some water. As she was coughing, the Sapphire pendant necklace slipped out from her shirt. The pendant was dangling from her neck while she was in crawling position.
