Shana rises up upon hearing the loud sound. She looked around in a hurry and found Shin looking at somewhere far away and Yuri with a strange look on her face. Finding no problem in particular, she breathed out in relief. Yuri then timidly opened her mouth
“Don’t do that so suddenly!!” “Huh, but this is common in manga right. Besides, Yuri also went together back then, you’ve heard the sound of gunshot already haven’t you”
Shana walked toward the two of them and listened to Shin’s conversation. Some Heroes already tried to do what Shin did, but in the end they are unable to achieve it.

“I don’t really understand it, but something called matchlock has been used one time in the past. It was deemed less useful compared to a bow and not useful for an Adventurer”
“If they used Body Strengthening, even I can manage against something on the level of matchlock. However avoiding lot of iron balls scattering from a blast is a different matter. There’s no blessed person who can defend against something like that coming at them at speed of sound right ?” Shin shaped both of his hands like a round ball, or like a cylinder in front of Shana. She can’t imagine what he is trying to say, and then Shin smiles bitterly.
“By the way, I understand that I shouldn’t show off my ability carelessly, I’m going to act as if my blessing is just a common Creation. Oh also I heard from Yuri. It’s made from wood, but does something like this is unnatural here ?”
What he means is a Crossbow. Usually, it also need pulley and other contraption, but he doesn’t need it now since he’s just asking about it to Shana.

Adventurers need Supporters. Managing luggage, setting up a tent, preparing a meal, taking care of injuries and other tasks. It’s inefficient to do everything by yourself, and you shouldn’t waste the power of blessed person for those. That’s why you should ask people other than the adventurer to do it if possible.
Supporters system was born with those thought.
A supporter can register to form a party with adventurers by offering their capabilities. As long as the person act together with the Adventurer, they can obtain some degree of convenience, for example stuff like toll and tax. There are recruiting office for them, you can find supporters specializing in things like managing large amount of luggage, fighting a night time battle and many others. If an adventurer is looking for a commoner partner, many of them used the supporter system to help continue their journey.
“…Hey, Shana-san just told us about this you know ?” “…I haven’t been paying attention, at all…” Shin was explaining those things to Yuri while walking together, Yuri looked down and turn silent.
At that timing, she got herself excited after being invited by the person she likes and didn’t pay any further attention to the explanation and now she was ashamed of herself. Yuri didn’t talk much either because she was afraid of triggering more land mine and exposing herself.
“Adventurers and Supporters who have registered in the Guild may receive subjugation request . They can cut the specific part of their subjugation target and turn it to money” “What happened if you subdue it without registering in the Guild ?” “Obviously, you’ll just be working without pay”

“This place even have light tools, this village might even pass as a little old village in some country”
They can see some kind of light contraption hanging on the pillars that were built in many places. There are things that looked like a black cable connecting them, so it looked just like an street lamp or utility pole.
“In spite of that, if we step outside the gate we don’t know when we might encounter a monster… I’m going to become an adventurer, gain experience and money and then look for ways to return to our original world” “Certainly. It’s all thanks to Shana-san isn’t it”
A wooden building that looks like a restaurant come into their view. A sword and shield mark was drawn on the sign. After confirming that it was the Adventurer Guild, both of them opened the door and stepped inside.
“Alright, let’s go” “Yes”

On the other side of the door was a place different from their imagination of an Adventurer Guild. There was a wooden desk lining across the counter, and near them was a small bulletin board and several round tables. From their limited knowledge, this place looks just like a small office in a small village.
“Oh, are you reporting a monster sighting ?” From the back, an old man with one leg who seemed to be an employee appears. Not a beast girl or beautiful lady but an old man. Shin shakes his head to remove his delusion and smiled bitterly while answering the receptionist old man.
“No, we came to join the guild. Er, we’re introduced by Shana-san” “Oo, Oo. Which means both of you are Fallen people. I’m lucky to be able to see a Hero before I die”
The old man takes out a ledger while tapping it with his hand. He licked the tip of a pen in his hand and turn his eyes on Shin.
“Are both of you going to register ?” “I’m registering as Adventurer, Yuri is registering as Supporter. We have no plans on partying with other people” “Yes yes, you shouldn’t let go of your lover. Especially a Fallen people with blessing because man and woman will flock to you guys” “Yes, I won’t let go even for a moment” Shin agreed with the old man who advises him while writing in the book.
“Alright, tell me your name” “Shin” “Yuri” “Can you use your blessing for battle ?” “Yes, to an extent” “Do you have experience in subjugation ?” “There’s none” “If you’re inexperienced, there will be a charge, but would you like to take a special training ?” “Shana-san will teach us personally”

I too will inform everyone about this” “Is that so ?” “Yes, because Miss Shana is a necessary person for this village” Shin smiles back upon the old man’s words. as soon as he completed filling in the required information, the old man closes the ledger and turns around.
“With this the registration is finished. If you’re in a big town you should make an identification card, but in here I will remember your face” The old man then hold out his hand asking for a handshake
“For the sake of this village, please do your best at your Adventurer’s works” “Yes”
Shin held his hand out and took his first step as an Adventurer in the village of Yutarika.
