I face toward Sei。
「Perhaps Tokoharu-san thinks of me as gentleman who always cares about women and an always-superb senpai but actually……」

I’m kinda hurt by that clear statement。
「…… Well, whatever。 Anyway, I’m not really a gentleman。 I’m a human that exists for 『peace』 and 『enjoyment』。 I think I’ve said it before but from here on we’ll be responsible for ourselves。 Being killed by corpse ogres, killing them as well, Tokoharu-san must decide。 If I’m in danger I will abandon Tokoharu-san, that’s my intention。 If you don’t like that wait in the cafe。 The girls over there are ordered to not attack anyone after all.」 {TL note: I TLed ‘Raku’ as ‘peace’ before since it made most sense in its context, but here it’s better as ‘comfort’.}

Just like earlier, Sei speaks decisively。

While worrying, I open the closed fire safety door leading to the 3rd floor。
「Then, let’s go.」
We descend to the 3rd floor。
「Two are coming.」
Sei points towards the end of the hallway。
There was a male student, and a female student fumbling around。
That female student was……
「Yamaguchi-san, huh.」
This was one of the two girls that was in my classroom the day the world changed。 {TL note: See second half of chapter 2}
The other girl was Kawakami Mika who I warned that she could become a corpse ogre, but Yamaguchi Sae must’ve not listened to me。
Or perhaps she listened but didn’t move。
Either way, Sae became a corpse ogre。
「…… Is it someone you know？」
Sei asks me in a sympathetic voice。
「It’s a classmate。 Just that.」
Saying so, I grip on Blue Deer and approach the two。
「SHAAAaaaaaaa」
Sae approaches with her mouth wide open to take a bite。
Wide, so wide saliva scatters around。
Looking at Sae, I felt a slight feeling of anger。
「Is it ‘misplaced anger’ or what.」 {TL note: 逆ギレ (gyakugire) : reversed role between victim & offender}
Muttering so between my breaths, I hit the two corpse ogres with Blue Deer。
In one strike。
「Freeze.」
Instantly, the male student has his feet and arms frozen and is unable to move, while Sae is stuck inside a lump of ice。
「Incredible……」
Sei voices her admiration at my move。
Looking at Shinji’s fighting style til now, Sei thought he was strong, but seeing it now it’s truly incredible。
There’s no useless movements and Shinji’s footsteps are silent。
Even so, Shinji’s attacks are as fast as the wind。
With levels ups…… Or so it’s called, Sei heard that physical ability rises, but perhaps even in their previous states, Shinji was just as capable as Sei。
Why would such a person not join after school activities or clubs and remain unknown, Sei wondered。
Sei doesn’t know it’s actually for the deplorable reason to only play games。

I recite the repair magic and the ice surrounding Sae disappears。

The ice locking up Sae out of the way, Sae attacks me。
「Fuu！」
Without being flustered, I hit Sae with Blue Deer again, locking her in ice。
「What could you doing？」
Sei approaches me。
「An experiment。 It’s to confirm what would happen to Level 1 corpse ogres’ experience level after reviving them with Risai.」
I look at my tablet。
Defeating a 『Corpse ogre』 Lv１ 0 Exp acquired.
I didn’t acquire experience nor points。
It seems that after defeating a corpse ogre, using Risai will reduce their level。
And so, reviving level 1 corpse ogres and defeating them won’t give experience。
It seems that it’s impossible to level up forever using『Risai』。
「Senpai……」
Sei calls out to me。
「…… What？」
「No, just…… Is it not cold？」
Sei said with a bewildered voice。
「Eh……？ Ah, the frost。 It’s cold right.」

Sei wanted to talk about Shinji’s attitude towards Sae。
Shinji had some sort of warmth with the girls that become corpse ogres in the cafe。
However, Shinji’s attitude towards Sae was obviously different。
As if he was looking at that spider from some time ago。
Is it unconscious perhaps。
Shinji didn’t notice at all this matter。
「…… Even frozen, they’re fine after being turned back with Risai, so until we’ve secured the stairs let’s freeze all the girls like that maybe.」
Or so Shinji mutters。
Freezing girls gives out the battle log information and so it breaks my own oath……
My oath is the rule my mind made。
And the basis of that oath is 『peace』 and 『enjoyment』。
Freezing Sae was a 『peaceful』 thing to me。
I didn’t actually kill them。
They didn’t become materials。
I cure them with Risai。
I’ve concluded that freezing the female corpse ogres gives out the experience and points, so it’s a good method。
「Ano, senpai, what will we do with this person？」
Sei tells me something to pull me out of my thoughts。
It’s about the corpse ogre that can’t move with his limbs frozen。
