Samantha was woken up the next day by the ringing sound of her phone. With one eye open, she glanced at the name and answered.

"Ngnhnn." she groaned with a sleepy voice.

"What the? You're still sleeping? It's noon!"

"I had stuff. What do you want?"

"Tch. Sam, I think I found a way to recover the videos."

Samantha who was still half asleep opened her eyes in surprise. "What did you say?"

"The videos that you asked me before? I think I found a way to recover the lost files." replied the man on the other line.

"How? I thought it was a lost cause?", Samantha said in a surprised tone.

"Actually, I gave up on it already when I told you that before.. but I met an old friend who's really good at this stuff. I asked him if he can work on it and he said he will try. Do you still need it?"

Samantha had almost forgotten about the files that she was working on for weeks after her birthday just so she can know more about what happened that night. She still had no idea who saved her, how it happened and most importantly, why?

After thinking for a few seconds, she said, "Yes."

"Okay, I'll let him know... But, he's currently out of the country though, so I'll ask him when he comes back in probably a week or two."

"I'll wait. Thanks, Carlos."

"No problem, Chica."

After the call, Samantha checked the time on her phone. It was almost 12 noon.

She received a text from Hannah saying that she's staying with her parents for a few days and not to worry about her. After thinking it over, Samantha replied conservatively.

To her dismay, no texts or calls from Daniel. Was he really mad? Why's he so cold towards her?

Samantha sighed and walked towards the window. The sun was shining brightly up in the sky, it's another day… but her thoughts went back to last night's events. She thinks that even if Hannah's okay now, she couldn't forgive herself and this made her heart in pain. How could she face her best friend?

Pushing all her thoughts away, she inhaled and exhaled deeply before she called Daniel's number. Daniel didn't pick up right away unlike the other times, after several rings,

"Hey…" said Samantha with a hopeful voice.

"Good day, Ms. Kim. This is Assistant Ahn."

"Oh, where's Daniel?"

"Boss is… currently busy at the moment."

"He's mad at me, isn't he?"

"Ms. Kim, honestly, he's been in a bad mood since last night."

"I see." Samantha paused before she continued, "What are his appointments for today?"

" Well the president's in a meeting right now and at 4 o'clock he has a magazine photoshoot."

Samantha contemplated for a bit before she replied, "Okay, can you send me the address for the photoshoot? Please don't tell him that I asked."

Ahn didn't respond and Samantha thought, 'Maybe he's afraid that I might cause his boss some trouble?'

Samantha added, "Don't worry... I'm just going to stop by, I won't disturb his work."

"No problem, Ms. Kim."

"Thank you, Ahn." Samantha hung up the phone and after a minute, she received the address.

Samantha decided to visit Daniel and try to persuade him not to get mad anymore. She wanted to go there but she had to change her appearance first.

After she took a shower, she then wore a blush pink skater dress paired with white heels. Today, she opted not to wear masks or sunglasses, she rather changed her looks by wearing a dark red long and wavy wig. The color of the wig and the dress surprisingly complimented each other. She wore doll-eye contact lenses and it made her eyes appear bigger. They were very cute. And with a black eyeliner pencil, she drew a dot near her eye, just above the cheekbone; now she had a mole on her face. To complete her look, she put on some lip gloss.

Samantha looked at herself in the mirror and she almost didn't recognize herself. "Are you sure about this Samantha?"

For once, she didn't want to cover her face when she would go visit Daniel with other people around. She wanted to show her facial expressions while talking to him even if there was a crowd instead of covering half of her face with a mask. But she wanted to still conceal her identity, and with this disguise.. It totally changed her appearance. Nobody will notice, right?

When Samantha arrived outside the studio, she looked at herself in the rearview mirror. "You can do this, Sam. Noone's gonna recognize you with all this get-up." She closed her eyes and opened them again,

"Now, the problem is.. Will Daniel recognize me?" She had not thought it through, what if Daniel's going to ignore her because he failed to recognize her?

"Whatever."

Brushing the thoughts aside, she sent Ahn a text message saying that she's outside the studio. And after a minute, Assistant Ahn came outside.

Samantha stepped out of her car and walked towards Ahn, "Assistant Ahn.".

Ahn looked puzzled, looking at the charming lady in front of him, he wondered if he dated someone this cute before. "Ah yes? Do I know you?".

"Assistant Ahn, it's me." Samantha smiled at him and Ahn was even more dumbstruck. 'Ah, but who are you?', he pondered.

"It's me... Samantha Kim."

Assistant Ahn's eyes grew wide as he looked at Samantha from head to toe and back. "M-m-miss Kim?... But you don't.. look like you."

Samantha nodded. Looks like Ahn didn't recognize her. Was her disguise a success?

"Where is he?"

Assistant Ahn snapped out of his daze, "Oh, right. This way Ms. Kim.", he said. He then led Samantha inside the building and they passed by a few doors until they reached a large room. Inside were the production staff, makeup artists, props, photographers and directors.

When Samantha entered the studio, several heads turned to her direction. Indeed, she was such a head-turner with her dark red hair and doll face look.

"Who is that woman? She looks like a celebrity."

"Is she an actress? She looks Kawaii!"

"Why is she here though? Is she going to have a photoshoot?"

All the comments and whispers about her were heard by Samantha but she wasn't interested. She was busy looking for Daniel in the sea of people. Her eyes settled on a man in a grey tux, looking so dashing. Daniel posed dominantly in a red wingback chair looking like a King in his throne. The corners of Samantha's lips lifted upwards.

Daniel focused on his photo shoot not noticing Samantha on the side. And when the makeup artist gave him a retouch, for some reason, his gaze landed on the woman beside Assistant Ahn.
