Just as Nuwa's enraged voice fell, everyone became silent.
Nuwa was huffing while glaring at everyone with bloodshot eyes. She felt devasted and hurt. They had touched the most taboo topic. Since childhood, what she hated the most was calling her cursed and monster because of her rare eye colors. Even her biological parents dumped her...
Receiving Nuwa's hard slap, the spoiled-rotten Zi Yun was shocked and frozen for five seconds, totally unmoving. What had just taken place was totally out of her scope of understanding. She had always been treated like a pampered princess in her family. Though Zi Yun's family was not noble, her father was a govt. official. Moreover, she was the legitimate wife's born daughter. So, she was a prodigy of bullying.
As soon as the reality had finally dawned on her, she felt a scorching pain coming from both cheeks. The pain felt like someone had wielded a sharp knife and slashed her cheeks cruelly and after that half of a bowl of chili paste was rubbed onto the wounds. The burning pain reached her eyes as her eyes turned into scarlet. She touched her cheeks with both hands. Soon, huge droplets of tears were foaming in the corner of her eyes as they finally start falling.
"Aaaaaa....."
*sob* *sob* *sob*
"S-she...s-lapped...me..."
*sob* *sob* *sob*
As she started crying pitifully while stuttering, everyone finally snapped back to reality. They scowled at Nuwa with hatred and fury which evidently embedded in their eyes, where a trace of disbelief was also present.
"Y-you b*tch. How dare you touch my second cousin with those dirty hands. Today, I am gonna kill you."
It was a hysterical shriek that was coming from the green robbed boy as he glared at Nuwa with a hideous expression. He pushed Nuwa as she tripped and fell backward. He then ran towards Zi Yun and started to console her while giving daggers at Nuwa. Soon others come and make a confrontation mob around Nuwa as they began to whack her.
They were slapping Nuwa continuously. Even though she was hit, she didn't groan in pain. She just keeps tolerating while gritting her teeth.
"You dare to insult her you slut", thwack one of the boys while grabbing her hair.
The sudden action made Nuwa changed into a pained expression which certainly pleased them. Looking at her disgustingly, they nonstop hit and cursed her.
The red-haired boy, Ah Chen, suddenly ran towards to Bai Qaing and shook him while whispering,
"Master, I think it's the high time for you to stop them."
Ah Chen was Bai Qiang's childhood friend and most loyal subordinate whose family was working under Bai family for almost five generations. Even though he was just a mere subordinate, Bai Qiang never treated him like a slave. People called his young master cold-hearted and arrogant, only he knew that deep inside, his young master was an emotional and kind-hearted person. So he could sense a bit of his young master's feelings for Nuwa, even though Bai Qiang himself wasn't aware of it.
But the way he was persuading her by extreme bullying was wrong. He tried to tell him a lot of times, but the stubborn guy never agreed. See, the situation was getting out of hand now.
This time he shook Bai Qiang firmly as he muttered louder,
"Young master, please stop them or things will go out of control."
The most shocked person was no one but Bai Qiang. All this time, he rooted at the spot in a daze. Never in his dreams, he thought that she would react this way and strike back since all this time, they had been bullying her while she kept her mouth shut. He then glanced at Nuwa who's face was swollen like a pig and hair was messier than before. He stared at her with a different face, a face full of guilt and apology, as he finally waved his hand to order everyone to halt and he loudly ordered them,
"Stop with this."
Sensing his sudden outcry, the circle was broke as everyone halted from their actions and distanced from Nuwa as their gaze finally fell on the young master. Staring strangely, they went towards his side and started to reasoning with him.
"Young master.. see what she this lowly girl had done. Please punish her.", demanded one of Nuwa's mugger who was grabbing her hair.
"Yes master, please punish her," said everyone in unison as they were looking at the young master expectingly.
Nuwa slowly raised her head as she looked at the young master with disgust. She found his action funny, defending her like a hero saves beauty, while he was the main villain who made her life difficult. She tried to get up even though she knew there was no energy left. Soon she stood up on her wobbly legs as she slowly walked towards her tent, even though her body was shaking violently due to unimaginable pain.
"Young master, how can be you are still biased towards this filthy girl when our second miss suffered such a public humiliation! Please don't spare her, she is arrogant and attention-grabbing b*tch who didn't even consider your kindness. We beg justice for our young miss."
"Yes, we want justice", they started to menacing together.
Bai Qiang became anxious. He becomes confused as he could not decide whom he should support since it was he who invited them to bully Nuwa. So if he didn't take his allies side, then his and his Bai family's reputation will be damaged.
On the flip side, he didn't know why but he didn't want Nuwa to misunderstand him more. He had been working for such a long time just to conquer her. He knew that he had already done something terrible that may be, in Nuwas eyes, he was nothing but a bully.
"Stop this alr-....",
He wanted to explain something but before he could finish his sentence, but this time Zi Yun starts something on a completely different level once again to make things difficult for Bai Qiang to shut and take her sides, with a smirk flickered across her dried tear-snot red face when she noticed he was gonna defend Nuwa.
"She must be a thief, just look at her slutty face, she is still trying to act indifferent in front of the young master, but I bet, she must've lost her Chastity long ago!"
Soon everything again become pin dropped silence as everyone looked at Nuwa differently. They started to gasped as they heard something scandalous, there were atrocious expressions on their face as they were grinning at her.
"You know, I also think that she must've lost her Chasity to that shopkeeper! She looks too obedient in front of him! This kingdom doesn't support something as disgusting as that!"
The young master's face was almost painted red with anger as he kept his face down. It seemed that he was insanely embarrassed by what the girl had just said. He really wanted to get his head and kill himself by smashing it with a rock! He was starting to doubt why he had such wingmen and women in the first place.
He looked at the girl in the eyes and started to give her the 'Shut the hell up' face. This was for all of them.
Looking at Bai Qiang, Zi Yun suddenly remembered she was the dignified Second Miss of the family, she could not lose her ground in front of him just because of that ugly b*tch.
Nuwa who was about to enter her tent suddenly scoffed and destroyed it by pulling the large bamboo that was used in holding up the whole tent. Then she took quick steps with a cold expression while holding the long bamboo. Suddenly, people felt a chilly atmosphere as a dangerous momentum was emitting from Nuwa's eyes, especially Zi Yun, as she felt hard to breathe. The menacing pressure coming from Nuwa, who was finally standing before her, was suffocating.
Subconsciously, everyone retreated half a step back. Nuwa seized the chance to close in on Zi Yun by taking a few steps.
Young master Qiang could see the change of her emotions as he wanted to stop her. But he knew that it was he who started this, he was the one who brought them along.
It was all his fault, she will hate him now.

2018 ended with a bang, but not a good bang… I ended up in hospitals many times. Also frustrated over many things. I was feeling conflicted over my writings since I was totally (and still) noob. Whenever I start writing, I feel inferior as I am lacking in grammars, vocabularies as well as ideas. Which always stop my motivations in writing further. And the worst of all, I don't know how to overcome these issues!
I know all of you are better than me. So, I hope you'll give me some guidance?
