"Speak." They suddenly heard a low, sexy voice commanded them from the dark.
The bulky men kowtowed and loudly slammed their head on the floor, as a result, they got injured. Blood started to ooze out from their foreheads but they didn't prioritize it. Even if their lord was asking in a leisurely, unconcerned manner but their body uncontrollably shuddered in fear. They were feeling threating because they heard from some trusted sources that this lord was cruel. The calmer his voice sounded, the furious he was inside.
"L-Lord Xuanyuan, Please help these lowly servants." They cried out loudly. Without replying, the lord tilted his head, in a gesture to proceed whatever they were saying.
"Lord, we made a huge crime without your permission. When we were looking for the engagement token in Lin kingdom's Princess's mansion, Princess Liena caught us red-handed. These lowly servants feared that she would inform His majesty. We have been working in the palace for a decade so it wasn't impossible for Her to recognize us."
"So what's the crime? You didn't find the South Sea's Pearl?" Asked Lord Xuanyuan impatiently.
"W-We didn't." Both men gulped down their saliva nervously on their failure.
"But my lord, we s-stabbed Her Highness. And these servants heard from some trusted informers that, Princess died."
The room became silent, only the sound of breathing could be heard. The bulky duo nervously signaled each other with their eyes, asking what would happen to them. They were really scared of the wits of their future aspects because they were certain that sooner or later the imperial family would discern about their treacherous behavior.
Their suspicious disappearance already labeled them a traitor. As a result, it was absolutely impossible to go back to the Lin kingdom. Now, all of their concern was their family members, they didn't want to lose them. They knew that the consequence of their misconducts would surely befall on their innocent family members who were totally ignorant of their misconduct.
Don't ask them what was the punishment of eliminating the imperial family members... they could already assume that it was horrible than death. They shuddered in fear thinking of the possibilities, what they might be...
"Hahahahahaa... Hahahahahaaa..." They suddenly heard loud waves of laughter were coming from their lord's direction. Their body twitched on the eerily sound, their lord was laughing like a maniac. The whole atmosphere turned chilly.

The voice echoed to the big room. The duo's face turned pale like seeing a ghost so they loudly cried and ask for forgiveness.

Their faces slowly started to regain its original colors as their heart sprouted with hopes. Lord Xuanyuan stood up from his respective chair and walked towards them with curiosity to see the criminals face, which caused him revealing his extraordinary charming face to the people. The duo stupidity looked at him in awe, dropping their jaws. Their lord was a goddess (cough) they meant handsome!?!

Sensing their lecherous gazes, lord Xuanyuan got furious and kicked them hard. The kick was so powerful that they lost some teeth coughed a mouthful of blood. Their body became sore on the huge force. They were sure that their internal organs were greatly damaged on this outburst.
"F-forgive our manners, Lord." They cried in horror when curtsy continuously slamming their heads on the ground.

However, he was wearing a black robe and his face was covered by a turban, made him unrecognizable. His movements were very silent like a cat that Lord Xuanyuan didn't even notice when and for how long the black robbed men were standing behind him.
"Kill them" The man in black suddenly ordered in a cold voice.
Lord Xuanyuan jumped in fright on the sudden sound. With an animated expression, he almost shouted,
"Damn you, Emperor Qiu Feng Mian, don't shock me to death!"
Lord Xuanyuan tiger like domineer turned into kitten-like. Who knew that he was so clumsy! Those bulky men would laugh out loud if they saw his cowardly scene.
After calming down his heartbeat, he asked the black statue in a mocking tone.
"Why you wanted to kill them? Your marriage problem has been resolved, so you can rest easy now. Moreover, they were just some small fries, have no use. They can't even touch us, forget about being a threat!"
