Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. Both Zunnie and Alex got busy with work. Alex completely forgot he was curious about the beautiful girl with deep blue eyes.
Two months passed and Zunnie still had no idea who stayed in the condo down the hall.
On two occasions she had gone to the door to introduce herself but chickened out. She even began taking the elevator more often to make the acquaintance of her neighbor. It's not that she wanted a friend, she was touched when the previous neighbor came to introduce himself with cakes from his daughter.
Zunnie wanted to show the same kindness that had been given to her to the next person who moved in.
'Maybe there's no-one living there,' she thought. Since she saw no-one else but her, she pushed the gesture to the back of her mind.
Also, she had more important things to worry about. Her office was gaining positive feedback, because her treatment methods proved to be efficacious. Her patients increased to the point where she hardly had time to hang out with Sanua.
When she finally had a break, Sanua took her to Club Zen. She hadn't elegantly dined out since that day her brother and his girlfriend took her out to eat French cuisine.
She walked in and headed straight to the dining table where Sanua was waiting. Tonight, she wore a light brown blazer over a white sleeveless turtleneck top that she tucked into a red high-waist, wide leg dress pants.
She was looking exceptionally classy wearing her work outfit.
"My…my…my, you definitely go to working slaying." Sanua exclaimed as she stood to hug Zunnie.
"Well, aren't you kind!" Zunnie blushed hearing her fashion mogul best friend compliment her.
They ordered dinner and chatted happily.

In a private room at the same club, four people were having dinner as well.
Natalia excused herself and went to the bathroom leaving three men in the room.
Juno Langu was surprised to see Alex walk in with a beauty behind him. Since when had his long-time buddy Zi gotten a girlfriend?
He knew Alex very well and took the opportunity to tease him.
"So, Zi boy you're not going fill us in on…"
"Just a friend." Alex replied cutting him off. He knew what Juno was up to, so he didn't wait for him to finish his question.
"Are you sure, because the way she looks at you says otherwise."
"What the hell do I care with the way she looks at me. I said she's just a friend. We knew each other when we were kids."
Alex had expected his friends to tease him when he showed up with Natalia.
Earlier got a call from the mansion to pick up documents form his grandfather. When arrived, Natalia was there. She was waiting on her diver who was late, so he agreed to drop her off in the city.
On his way there, Hunter called to invite him to the club because Juno had stopped by.
Natalia's hotel was in the opposite direction. The call was on speaker and having heard their conversation, she said she was hungry. Upon Hunter's request, he had no choice but to bring her along.
After dinner, Hunter was walking them to the door when he noticed Alex had stopped. He turned around to where his buddy was looking. Although, he was the only one who saw where Alex briefly stared, he knew what was happening.
As soon as he saw Sanua Lou, Hunter guessed that the pretty girl dinning with her must have been the one Alex had asked him about. He smiled and continued walking the group to the door.
Alex was the last one to walk out of the private room. He was about to call Secretary Zhang when he saw her smile stopping in his tracks. Even if he knew she came to Club Zen, he did not think he would bump into her tonight. He took a quick glance in her direction then acted as if nothing happened.
He continued dialing his secretary to say he was ready to head home.
Zhang was five minutes away when his boss called.
Alex arranged for Hunter to call Natalia a taxi and after she left, he sat in his car and waited for the girl with blue eyes and red brown hair to walk out.
He sat in his car for twenty minutes before the two ladies came out. Secretary Zhang had no idea what his boss was up too. He stared at him through the review mirror a confused look emerged on his face. Just as he was about to ask his boss if he was okay, he heard him say.
"Follow that black Volvo XC90!"
Following his boss' command, he quickly drove out the parking lot and followed the car.
Zunnie had a wonderful time with Sanua. She entered her black Volvo and drove off. It was a gift from her dad as an apology for inviting only boys to her twenty-fourth birthday. She chose that model because it was cute and mostly because it wasn't flashy. She had no idea she was being followed.
After fifteen minutes of driving, Secretary Zhang was now wondering why his boss asked him to follow the Volvo if he knew where it was going.
Alex's eyes were glued on the vehicle in front of his car. He was indeed surprised when he noticed that the car he was following took the same route he to Lake-view.
Although, he had not planned to follow her home, when Zhang arrived he still wanted to stare at her. He sat in the car and watched her through the window as she happily chatted with Sanua.
He only asked Zhang to follow her on impulse. Now that they were both heading in the same direction, he couldn't help but feel anxious.
Both cars parked in the basement parking lot. He waited as she took the elevator, then got out and run to see on what floor she got off.
"Third?" he mumbled as he pushed the up button.
Zhang was still in the car observing his boss' odd behavior. Seeing that his was forgotten, he took his phone and dialed his boss who told him he could head home.
Alex got off the elevator on the third floor and stared at the door to his right.
"So, all this time Little Thing has been my neighbor...hmm" He smirked, walked to his door, and disappeared inside.
