The female employees blushed, and the men, they sat gawking at the handsome man standing next to their boss. He had on a dark blue suit and his cold eyes matched his image. Alex nodded and smiled when Zunnie introduced him. Yet, he was disappointed she had not called him her husband, even if they were not married. He had been happy when she invited him to lunch and pushed his meetings back an hour.

Alex found a seat next to Zunnie and helped himself to the delicious foods on the table.

"You really are Alexander Zi from Arch.deZIgns?" The female receptionist asked her cheeks flushed.

"I am," Alex replied and glanced at the cute psychologist sitting next to him.

"Mr. Zi, I heard that you're single. They say you're one of the hottest eligible bachelors in the city." Another employee said in a sweet seductive voice.

"I'm not single and you shouldn't repeat everything you hear, not all of it may be true." He answered and squeezed Zunnie's thigh under the table. She flinched when she felt his hand and glared at him. She furrowed her brow, took his hand and placed it on his thigh. Alex smirked at her annoyance. She was rather cute when being teased.

Hearing Alex's reply the girl became embarrassed. Everyone at the table noticing the tension refrained from asking questions and chatted about something else.

Alex was in a good mood. Seeing Zunnie had on a skirt, he snaked his hand beneath it. His hand was swatted away immediately. From the corner of his eye, he saw a rose-pink shade on her cheeks. He grinned then continued eating as if he had done nothing.

When lunch ended, the staff thanked their boss and went back to work. Alex was not ready to return to work and followed Zunnie to her office. He wanted to spend a few more minutes alone with her.

"May I ask why you are following me; do you not have to go back to work?"

He only smiled and stepped into her office after her. The room had a familiar lavender scent like her apartment.

"So, did you speak with your brother?" Alex was curious when Zunnie said she made plans to inform her brother about them.

"Not really, he had an important meeting. But he was shocked when I told him I liked you."

"Why?"

"Well, since I've never dated anyone. He seemed surprised that the first person I happen to be interested in is you." Zunnie explained to Alex.

"You never had a crush on anyone or liked anyone?" A stunned Alex asked to which the Zunnie nodded. Even though he was her first he had no idea she was this pure. He walked to where she stood and placed his arms around her waist. He hugged her from behind and whispered in her ear,

"Don't worry I don't mind. We can learn to love each other together."

He turned her around to face him and kissed her forehead. Zunnie was heartened by his actions and vowed to love him with all her heart. He tilted her chin to kiss her but stopped when they heard a knock on the door. It was Zunnie's secretary; her patient had arrived.

Alex said goodbye to her and drove back to his office. The truth was he really wanted to marry her as soon as possible. Even though he had not spoken to his grandparents about it, he knew they would agree with whatever decision he made if he gave them grandkids.

His amber eyes lit up thinking about having a child with Zunnie. The short period he had spent with her, people would think he had gone completely mad. Falling in love with her was not planned but his heart had gotten the best of him.

Alex was still in a good mood when he returned to his office. Secretary Zhang had a shocked look when he noticed his ever so cold boss in a good mood. He wondered if had something to do with the woman who was waiting in the lounge room.

"Sir, a young lady is here to see you. She's waiting in the lounge. I told her you were out and will be busy when you get back, but she insisted on waiting."

Alex stopped and turned toward at the lounge. His happy mood turned sour when he saw who it was. He had not seen her since college. They had broken up when he found out she was had been lying to him.

He frowned and continued walking to his office. He sat in his chair then informed Secretary Zhang.

"Zhang send that person away. I have a meeting in five minutes. Next time she comes, send her away."
