Call y drove through the gates and began a slow circular drive up to the main building of Clan Home. She was Happy to return and sad at the same time. She hadn't been back in so long. Her Olen had kept her completely informed of any changes but there were so many new structures. She explained the purpose of Clan Home to Jessie and Abby as she drove. "This place was started over two hundred years ago as a safe haven for werewolves. This area was chosen because of its remoteness and the hemlock rainforest. Nothing can compare to running free through a temperate rainforest." "Over time the purpose changed to more of a government entity for the werewolves."

Clan Home was special in all the world. This was the united nations for all werewolf clans and individual packs. All Laws, treaties, emergency assistance and werewolf policing was located. Each clan had an established base here and was represented by a council member. Depending on the clan size determined the size of each delegation. With one exception, the Wotan clan. Olen Hamundarson had been the oldest acknowledged wolf in the world. Olen was close to 1000 years old. He had been a true viking. He was also thought by many to be the sole member of the Wotan clan. Olen was the CEO of Wotan international and the chairperson for the delegates of Clan Home.

The buildings they pasted were of differing styles based on the wolf clan that lived there but still managed to fit into the overall location. So many trees! As the car moved pass a olympic sized pool and tennis courts they caught their first glimpse of the largest building in Clan Home. It sat above the rest built seemingly out of a huge rocky outcropping. The building was in a V shape, hugging the rocky cliff. One side showed dozens of windows shining in the morning sun. "This is our new home. We have a suite of rooms on the second floor. " "You'll have to share a room until we move stuff around." Jessie and Abby could hear a sadness in Cally's voice. But it's difficult to ask a lot when you have a muzzle.

Finally after fifteen minutes of slow driving they arrived in front of Guild Hall. The structure rose up along the hillside in all it's glass and steel glory. Cally smiled with pride, As the two wolves marveled at the building before them. "This was styled after Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Mill Run, in PA. Isn't it beautiful?" Cally let the girls out of the back, "We'll go to our rooms and you can get changed. I have to see about Olen." The girls knew about Olen, Hadn't Cally been talking about him for the past two days off and on?

Entering Clan home was entering the nerve center of werewolf society. No one bothered to give them a second glance as they hurried along with their tasks. Cally and her girls took the elevator up to the second floor which was where the Wotan clan had their suite that ran across the front of the building with a huge balcony. Cally did not expect anyone to be in her and Olen's rooms and was very unhappy when she walked in to discover half a dozen people touching her things!

On the first floor where all the main offices were located, Marcus Knight was busy on the phones answering the hundreds of questions regarding Olen's death. Marcus was the head of security for Clan Home and also the leader of the Black Watch. Olen's death had frightened many and had also created much speculation about a shake up in Clan home. Who could take his place? It must be said that werewolves have sensitive noses. Not as sensitive as bloodhounds which are designed by nature to be the sniff geniuses of the world but pretty darn close. Marcus raised his head as he caught the smell of blood. The he could hear thumps, banging, shouts and growling as he smelled even more blood. He called the Guild Hall's security, "Olen's rooms, NOW!"

Running up a set of stairs was the quickest way and when he arrived at the landing in front of Olen's rooms he was nonplussed to see a body flying out of Olen's room to hit the wall and then fall to land on a pile of bodies already there. He recognised them as all members of Red Cliffs Clan. They were all suffering from broken bones, a couple were unconscious and the last one thrown out Tom Richardson was in the worse shape. He knee was shattered and the knee was twisted at an impossible angle. Bones and blood splattered the hallway. Marcus ran in the suite to find Councilmember Catherine Rosemount being strangled by the neck and shaken like a wet rag. "WHY are YOU in MY room?" The ethereal girl in front of him was without blemish but had obviously pitched out six people.

"She can't answer you because you are strangling her. Why don't you put down the councilwoman?" Cally turned at the new voice and presence behind her. Never let your enemies get behind you! She was momentarily stunned by the gorgeous man in the doorway. She dropped the Catherine person and skipped over to Marcus, examining him closely. Marcus was shocked to see her lick her lips and ask, "OH pretty! Are you mated?"
